April turned towards the window, pretending to be sulky.
"But it really isn't my fault you know, anytime I see your little red nose and your pouted rosy lips, then I suddenly forget how to be serious" Lucas smiled seductively while locking his fingers in between April's.
"You were very serious just a moment ago" April muttered softly
"Well, that was before you started sulking like a tiny kitten!"
"Lucas!" April hit his arm again but this time with a bit more force while Lucas laughed out. He was enjoying teasing his wife.
"Okay, okay," He caressed her fingers softly "No more teasing, I promise! " his voice low and soft
"I really missed you in the past few days I left the house" he blurted softly using the other hand to caress her cheeks.
April didn't say anything and just laid her head on his shoulders while the both of them interlocked fingers.
