By the time he came back inside the room, April was already awake but didn't stand up from the bed and rolled slowly in between the covers. Lucas watched her with smiles before approaching April.
"If you're awake, why don't we get ready for the day wifey?" Lucas said staring at April
April grumbled and whined in her tiny voice before she replied "But- where are we going?"
Lucas smiled at the way she was acting cute "we are going on a date darling" he revealed still smiling
April didn't say anything and just kept quiet suddenly. Lucas stood in front of the bed wondering what happened. At least he thought with the way things were going between them, she would be happy to hear about them going on a date but he instead heard something else;
April was crying and sniffling while using the back of her hands to wipe her face. Lucas brows immediately furrowed with worry as he quickly sat down by the side of the bed.
"Darling! What's wrong? You don't want to go? Are you feeling any pain?" He asked in a rush as he wiped her tears with his fingers slowly
"No man– has ever treated me the way you do, why are you just– so nice to me?" April continued sobbing as she stared at him
"I thought you'd be very cold and harsh to me just like– just like–" she stuttered in tears
"Shhhhh! I'd never treat you bad the same way he did! That will never happen, okay? I'll make sure to take good care of you." He said softly caressing her cheeks.
"I don't want you to ever think that I'll do anything wrong to you. I want you to feel safe with me, you can ask me anything and trust me"
After he said those words, April stopped crying and stared at him softly for few moments and the next thing she did was to hug Lucas tightly by the neck.
Lucas was also taken by surprise with the way she decided to hug him. She just initiated a hug for the first time and Lucas was happy to have it as he also hugged her tightly breathing in her soft scent.
Few seconds into hugging, one of them finally said something;
"If you're done being a cry baby, shall we prepare for our date now?" Lucas smiled slightly
"Mmh!" April whined
"Now, let's go and have our bath, we don't want to be late"
"Mmh!" April replied
With that Lucas carried her out of the bed and dropped her foot to the ground as he led her to the bathroom door attempting to open it.
April followed behind him quietly but she stopped walking suddenly to process what Lucas just said to her.
"Have…. our bath….together?" She asked staring at him softly
"Mmhmm! That's right. We are having our bath together" he replied, taking April's hand again to enter the bathroom.
"Why should I bathe together with you?" April quickly removing her hands from his grip
"I don't want to- bathe with you, I'm fine with bathing on my own" she whined with her head lowered and her cheeks already turning red.
She didn't want Lucas to see her naked again and she also doesn't want to see his nakedness either.
Lucas watched her with a seductive smile on his lips and thought of what to do;
"You don't have to be shy, haven't we seen each other's nakedness before? I have even tasted, touched and sucked from every part of your body. What's there to be shy about?"
"Why are you so shameless? How can you– just say it like it's nothing" April frowned slightly
"But it's nothing bad, since we are married. We can always feel and touch each other however we want"
Lucas continued to tease as he moved towards her in slow steps but before he could catch a hold of her hand, April quickly ran outside the door of the room escaping Lucas's hot trap.
Lucas laughed out and couldn't believe April just ran away all because she didn't want to see him naked.
Another thing April was scared of, is seeing his big tool that grinded her the other night. She was scared of seeing it again and who knows what would happen in the bathroom with the two of them naked.
April ran down the stairs like her life depended on it. When she got downstairs, breakfast was already served, so she decided to eat first and then go and bath after Lucas was done.
With that, she made sure to finish her breakfast which would give her enough time to wait for Lucas to finish bathing.
"Ma'am! Boss said to notify you when your dress has arrived also the make up artist and hairstylist are here too. Where would you like for them to attend to you?" One of the housekeepers came and informed April, but she was looking confused.
"A dress– was prepared for me?" She asked pointing to herself in confusion
"Yes ma'am! Boss had it made specially just for you. Where should we put it so you can start preparing for the day?" The housekeeper replied wondering what happened to their madam for her to be asking such questions.
April didn't know what to do or say, besides, Lucas was still in the bathroom. So she sent for the make up artist and hair stylist to attend to her in another room, then she can also change her dress comfortably there.
By the time Lucas finished preparing, he was expecting April to have returned to the room and had her bath, but she was no where to be found even minutes after he finished dressing up.
So, he didn't waste too much time and went downstairs to see if she was there.
"Where's my wife?" Lucas asked one of the housekeepers as he fixed his cufflinks
"Oh, madam is in another room. The make up artist and stylist arrived earlier, so she asked to be attended to in another room. But she'll be done soon." She replied and immediately left to her duties.
Lucas smiled after he heard what the housekeeper said. In his head, he was already thinking of how April would look in the dress he prepared for her.
In order not to make curiosity drive him crazy, he strolled to the entrance of the room and decided to wait till they've finished dolling his wife up.
Moments later, the make up artist and hairstylist finished with their work and opened the door to leave but they met Lucas already standing in front of the door waiting patiently to see his little wife.
Immediately they left, Lucas walked in gently and saw April already dressed in a Burgundy A line strapless petal floral corset mini gown paired with silver stiletto heels and jewelries. Her hair styled in a classy bun updo with loose waves.
She looked like a modern day goddess and the burgundy color of the dress made her look even more breathtaking just as Lucas was holding his breath right now.
He watched his wife from the door with smiles on his face without being noticed.
From this scene, one thing is a fact that Lucas loves the color burgundy on his wife.
From the first day he saw April on this color burgundy which was the day their marriage was registered.
Swiftly, while April was arranging the vanity table, she noticed someone by the door and saw that it was Lucas.
She quickly dropped what she was doing and carried her mini bag on the bed as she walks calmly towards Lucas who was checking her out from head to toe.
The corset dress made April's boobs pushed up even more making her look sexy.
"Lucas! Don't you think the dress is a bit too short? Everyone will stare at me if I wear this outside" April whined but Lucas was busy staring at the top of her boobs that were bouncing with his seductive smile.
And April didn't even notice she just called him Lucas without feeling shy like before.
"You look– absolutely stunning darling! You don't need to care about what anyone says. I just want you to focus on us."
Lucas moved closer and kissed her neck slightly but he couldn't go on with what was on his mind because April just finished putting on make up and he didn't want to ruin it.
So he began fighting the urge to just smooch April into his arms and kiss her so badly. He then instead kissed her shoulders and complimented her looks again while April frowned slightly worrying about how short the dress looks.
"Lucas! Are you sure you want me to wear this out there?" April asked softly again with worry in her voice.
"You look so beautiful, I can't take my eyes off you! I love this dress on you and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks." Lucas complimented and hugged her waist tightly.
April lowered her head a little and remembered that she hasn't thank him for the dress yet and instead complained about it;
"I- I would like to say thank you for the dress" April muttered and smiled softly
"You don't need to thank me, I just want you to continue looking beautiful everyday."
