Chapter Nineteen — Concert Chaos & Backstage Sparks

(Sienna's pov)

It was one of those mornings where the world felt like it was moving a hundred miles per hour, and I was somehow expected to keep up.

The official concert announcement went live today. Social media had been buzzing since the first teaser, but now… now it was absolute madness. Fans were analyzing every photo, every word, every hashtag. Clips from the rain scene, the pool scene, and Episode Four were still trending, and somehow, the fandom had decided that I and Axel were the ultimate power couple.

I stared at my phone as notifications exploded like fireworks. Concert Announcement: Sienna Everglow Live! Trending in ten countries. Fan edits flooded Instagram and TikTok. Articles speculating on ticket sales, stage design, and even what Axel would wear went live within seconds.

"Sis, the internet's melting," Ember said, practically vibrating next to me, waving her phone like a flag. "Look at this — people are already making countdowns, fan merch, reaction compilations… OH MY GOD. Axel! Axel! Look at them!"

Axel, standing beside me with that damn smirk, leaned over casually to scroll. "Not bad," he murmured, dark eyes twinkling. "You've officially broken the internet. Again."

"I hate you," I muttered, though I couldn't help smiling.

"Love me," he teased.

Later, we arrived at the rehearsal hall for concert prep. The energy was electric. Stage crew scuttled about, lighting technicians tested every fixture, and the music team ran soundchecks that rattled my chest and made my pulse race.

I glanced at Axel. "You realize… this is insane, right?"

He grinned, leaning against the side of the stage. "I know. And you'll survive. Maybe even enjoy it."

I rolled my eyes. "Maybe. If I don't have a panic attack first."

Backstage, the tension between us was impossible to ignore. Every touch, every glance, every accidental brush of hands sent sparks flying. I was adjusting my outfit for a quick rehearsal when Axel sidled up, leaning closer than necessary.

"You know," he said, voice low, teasing, "if the fans see us like this, they'll lose it. Again."

I shot him a glare, but my cheeks betrayed me, coloring slightly. "They already have. That's why I hate social media."

"Yeah," he murmured, brushing a stray strand of hair from my face, "but maybe they're just noticing what I've known for a while."

I froze, heart hammering. "What… what do you mean?"

He smirked softly. "You're insane. Chaotic. Beautiful. And I like it. A lot."

I swallowed hard, words caught somewhere between panic and… anticipation. "Axel…"

"Shh," he whispered, leaning just a little closer, enough for my breath to hitch. "We'll deal with the world later. Right now… just focus on surviving the stage."

Ember, of course, had to intervene at that exact moment, barging in with a stack of sheet music, glitter, and a coffee cup precariously balanced in one hand.

"Gurl! Focus! The concert's in a month, your fans are already rioting online, and Axel is flirting — AGAIN. Calm down and rehearse, people!"

I groaned, tossing my hands up. "Ember, calm down?! You're part of the chaos!"

"Exactly!" she said triumphantly, eyes sparkling. "And I am your hype queen. Don't forget that."

Axel chuckled, shaking his head. "I could get used to this chaos."

"I hate both of you," I muttered, though I couldn't stop smiling.

Later, during a brief lull, I found myself sitting by the edge of the stage, staring at the empty auditorium that would soon be filled with screaming fans. Axel sat beside me, close enough that our knees brushed.

"I'm terrified," I admitted softly, voice barely above a whisper. "What if I mess up? What if the stage collapses under the pressure? What if—"

"You won't," he interrupted gently, hand brushing mine again. "I've got you. Every step, every note, every… everything."

I looked up at him, heart racing, and for the first time in weeks, felt like maybe… I could survive all of it.

He smirked, but his eyes softened. "Besides… I kinda like the chaos, when I get to face it with you."

I bit my lip, words failing, as the auditorium lights reflected in his dark eyes. Sparks flew silently, electric, undeniable, and I realized: the concert, the filming, the media frenzy, the viral edits — none of it mattered as much as the tension, the connection, and the pull between us.

By the end of the day, rehearsal wrapped, stage lights dimmed, and the first official concert promo photos were ready for release. Fans would go insane, sponsors would cheer, and the world would be watching.

But for now, Axel and I shared a quiet moment backstage — hands brushing, smiles soft, hearts racing. The storm of fame and chaos could wait for a little while.

Because in that small bubble, just behind the curtain, nothing else mattered except surviving… together.
