Skiv frowned at him. "It's not like I know every poisonous plant in this forest!"
Even so, he still walked toward the bush.
Skiv crouched in front of it and leaned closer, carefully studying the berries. He stared at them for a few moments before slowly reaching out his hand.
However, just as his fingers were about to touch one of the berries, the entire bush suddenly shook.
Rustle!
Before Skiv could pull his hand back, another plant sprang out from behind the bush. Its mouth opened wide like a giant insect-eating plant.
Chomp!
Skiv's eyes nearly popped out of his head.
"AAAAAH! MY HAND!" he screamed as he desperately tried to pull himself away. "THE PLANT ATE MY HAND!"
His scream became even louder when he realized that his hand had been completely ripped off his arm. Blood immediately poured from the wound, and Skiv stumbled backward in horror as he stared at what was left of his wrist.
Roxanna quickly shouted, "Luan, get his hand!"
