Chapter 41 - Chapter 40: The Prison That Failed

For the first time in eternity, Kael Veyris opened his eyes.

A ripple shook through existence. Stars trembled. Forgotten gods felt a momentary chill. The walls of the Timeless Abyss, the dimension he'd been sealed in, cracked like thin glass.

He stretched his fingers.

The entire dimension reacted with fear.

Billions of Years Earlier…

The ancient entity known only as The Nameless Tyrant had ambushed Kael an evil older than continuity itself. Its power wasn't built on realms, stories, or ascension. It came from something deeper:

It consumed possibilities.

Not just timelines.

Not realities.

Possibilities themselves.

Kael tried every ability he had, but the Tyrant collapsed the layers around him and hurled him into a dimension with no time, no space, no rules

a place meant to erase anything that entered.

But the dimension made a mistake.

It let Kael exist inside it.

And Kael does not stay limited.

The Awakening

Inside the void, Kael's power couldn't fade because there was no concept of fading.

So instead… it grew.

His essence expanded.

His perception sharpened beyond story, meta-story, and narrative logic.

He learned to manipulate ruleless environments, something even gods couldn't do.

And he unlocked new abilities:

1.Narrative Isolation

He can exist outside any written, spoken, or imagined story, acting freely even when the universe tries to limit him.

2. Possibility Remaking

He can restore, delete, or create possibilities that other beings rely on for power.

3.Void Sovereignty

Control over dimensions that have no rules making him immune to erasure, sealing, or paradox.

4. Transcendent Awareness

He sees authors, readers, watchers, and entities beyond fiction as clearly as characters see each other.

And then there was the biggest one:

5.Infinite Timeline Mastery

He can move faster than timelines are created, destroyed, or rebooted

faster than the concept of speed itself.

Breaking Out

Billions of years passed.

Kael raised his hand.

A single step carried him across the infinite void.

He didn't break out.

He simply walked out, because now the dimension didn't have permission to hold him.

Reality welcomed him back like a nervous host greeting a returning god.

The Tyrant appeared immediately, towering over millions of stacked realities. Its distorted voice shook causality:

"You should not exist anymore."

Kael looked bored.

"I don't follow your story anymore."

The Tyrant unleashed its full power possibility storms, antimeta collapse, discontinuity cannons. All the things that should have deleted any existence.

Kael didn't move.

The attacks touched him

and rewrote themselves into harmless light.

Kael had manipulated the possibility of them being dangerous and replaced it with the possibility of them being trash.

He lifted one finger.

"You tried to seal me for eternity. Now I can rewrite things you don't even understand."

He tapped the air.

All the Tyrant's potential futures, pasts, backups, and outer selves vanished.

It crumbled without drama.

It didn't even understand how it lost.

Kael whispered:

"You were powerful. But I am inevitable."

The Tyrant faded, erased from even imagination.

Kael looked at his hands.

He could feel something new humming through him:

6.Hyper Transcendent Creation

He can rewrite structures higher than universes, higher than meta stories, even higher than the laws that govern authors.

He didn't need revenge.

He didn't need to prove anything.

He simply wanted to test what else he could do now.

And somewhere, watching from beyond the highest layers of narrative, more powerful forces began to tremble.

Because Kael Veyris was no longer just a character.

He was becoming a principle.

A force.

A threat to anyone who believed they controlled reality.
