Hisashi blinked in surprise. "Come again?"
Sachi gave him a level look from her place on his front step, crossing her arms. "You are going to take the Quirk back. I don't want it. I didn't even want it in the first place. I don't need it. I have been more than happy being Quirkless my whole life. I don't need you trying to fix me when there is nothing wrong. Especially not without even asking me first."
Hisashi winced as he realized the issue. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply that that there was anything wrong with you being Quirkless, it is just with the discrimination I have heard and see Izuku going through I made the clearly incorrect assumption that you would want a Quirk too, if nothing else then so you did not have to face that anymore." He reached out his hand so that he could take the Quirk back. "In hindsight, I really should have realized the possibility that you didn't want a Quirk given my own brother's reaction to me giving him one despite it being to save his life."
Sachi seemed to study him for a moment before sighing and pinching the bridge of her nose. "Look, the Quirk itself isn't the only thing for me but the fact that you basically made a life changing medical decision for me without my permission within seconds of meeting me is an issue. Please don't tell me that you run around doing that sort of thing all the time or I will revoke my permission for Neito to spend any amount of time with you."
Hisashi opened his mouth to automatically deny that accusation but found himself pausing and snapping his mouth shut as he realized that he had literally just done the same thing to Dabi's boyfriend a few nights prior, albeit temporarily. He blinked as he forced himself to review his own actions from that new outside lens. "Oh. Well shit."
Sachi's brows shot up. "Are you telling me that you do?"
Hisashi carded his fingers through his hair. "I mean I've never really thought about it before. The implications of some of the things I have done just never registered. No wonder my brother's successors were always so scared of me."
She frowned. "No one ever complained to you about it before?"
He shook his head. "I have to wonder now if everyone I did it to before now was just too scared of me to say anything."
She seemed to consider him for a moment. "Alright then I am going to need a pretty good reason for allowing Nieto to come back here on his own if I am going to allow it."
Hisashi scratched his head. "I mean in all fairness, he is the only one who will never have to worry about me forcing a Quirk on him or taking his away temporarily. His Copy is a stronger version of my own All for One so I can't ever steal a Quirk from him if he holds it and if I was to give him a Quirk he didn't want, he could either immediately pass it back or transfer it to someone else."
She startled slightly. "Nieto's Quirk is what?"
Hisashi blinked. "Did…that just not come up? The whole reason we realized the connection was there in the first place was because of his Quirk, remember."
Sachi made a small noise of frustration. "It probably did and I didn't really register. I was in a bit of shock most of that first night so much of it blurred together."
He winced. "That is fair. Our family can be a lot at once unless you are used to it."
Sachi nodded. "Speaking of, I was curious about another thing. Your relationship with your Wife and that detective… Don't you find it at least a little strange that they are young enough to be your own children? I mean, both of them are younger than I am."
Hisashi shrugged. "I mean the same was true with your mother for me. As far as I am aware, I am the oldest living person on Earth by a long shot. The only other person that came close to matching me in age died a few months ago and well…" He found himself grimacing in disgust. "Let's just say that I never would have dated him and leave it at that."
Her brows shot up. "If his Quirk kept him alive for so long, how did he die?"
Hisashi considered lying for all of five seconds before he shrugged. "I decapitated him. The man was completely mentally unstable and I couldn't risk him continuing with his experiments. He was a real life Dr. Frankenstein but with even fewer morals. The only reason I didn't kill him sooner was because he was the only Doctor I knew that could patch me up if a fight with All Might or his predecessors went badly. With Eri's Quirk and her aspirations to help heal people when she gets older, well, the man's one redeeming quality became obsolete."
Hisashi was not surprised to see she had paled drastically as he spoke. That was a fair enough reaction. "You…killed him."
Hisashi shrugged. "He most certainly wasn't the first. That being said he holds the distinction of being the only one I have killed that was over the age of 100."
"Do your family know-?"
"That I have killed someone that recently? Yes. Even setting aside the doctor, during the incident with my last fight with All Might, I did kill 2 members of the Yakuza rather violently. In my defense though, they nearly killed two of my kids and Mirai just before that and had been abusing Eri so I wasn't particularly feeling lenient with them."
As she took a nervous step back off the front stoop, Hisashi realized he probably should have not mentioned that. It had been a long time since he had truly seen a family member scared of himself. Sure, he knew that Mirai had been nervous about him in wake of finding out who he really was at first but the combination of his condition and Inko's presence had kept him relatively calm.
When he spoke again, he spoke in a softer voice. "Sachi, I am not going to hurt you or your little family. You are all part of my family too."
She looked so much like a cornered animal that it pained Hisashi to watch her. "So, what, you would kill for me? Is that it? Because that isn't something I could ever tolerate you doing in my name."
Hisashi frowned. "I really hate that saying…" He shook his head. "No, I kill for me and me alone. I will spare people though if you ask. All Might is still alive because multiple members of this family want him to be despite his failings for our family. Aldera Junior High still stands despite the cruelty that Izuku faced in their halls because our family wanted to go about things the legal way. All Might's successor and the only threat to myself is under my own protection because several of your siblings and cousins adore him as a good friend. While I cannot say I will never kill someone again if they were an active threat and provoked me to the level that Overhaul did, it is not a likely occurrence."
Sachi released a shaky breath. "I suppose that is the best I could expect to get from a Villain." She shook her head. "I'm done with all of this. While I won't stop Neito from seeing you if he wants, I don't want to see you again myself. Don't contact me unless there is an emergency." With that, she spun on the spot and walked away and out of Hisashi's life, just as abruptly as she had come into it.

Shouta was really starting to get tempted to defenestrate Kan. "No you cannot have him. He is my nephew too. You already agreed to let me have all of those."
Kan frowned, holding Neito's file. "Now you are just messing with me. How is Monoma your nephew?"
Shouta rubbed his face. "Apparently his mother is Hisashi's eldest daughter. We only found out after Katsuki got suspicious of Neito from how much he shares in common with Hisashi both behaviorally and in certain facial features. His mother looks like a female version of Hisashi's late brother so even before her mother admitted to hiding the relationship from both Hisashi and Sachi, we were pretty sure."
Kan gave a noise of frustration before tossing the folder down. "You know what, just pick all of those you want first and I will deal with the rest."
Shouta rolled his eyes and pulled out the folders from the pile of all his problem children and after a moment started to pull out all of their recent acquisitions.
Midoriya. Yaoyorozu. Shinso. Bakugou. Monoma. Iida. Todoroki. Yoarashi. Kirishima. Kaminari. Tsuburaba. And after a beat, Ashido.
That left 8 spots to fill normally.
Considering the gender ratio of all the students that had been in the pool, he decided that for the sake of fairness to pick three more of the girls from the remaining pile. Kendo and Asui both looked to be fairly level headed girls from what he could see and given the rest of the class… they would hopefully temper the chaos a bit. After a bit more consideration Jiro was added as well since she had shown exceptional teamwork with Ashido.
With 5 seats left, he began intentionally looking for Problem Children that would be better to have under his own supervision to help keep them and their classmates safe, which under normal circumstances was how he picked his students normally to really help weed out those who would never make it as a Hero for real. Aoyama was immediately added to his stack after reading about his Quirk actually hurting him if used incorrectly. As was Tokoyami who had admitted to having little control over his Quirk in dark places.
3 left. After some consideration, Sero was added to the pile for his personality profile. After a bit more flipping back and forth, Shoji was as well. The two of them hopefully would help temper the other boys with their calm natures.
The last one however he was less sure of. There was one file in the stack that frankly should not have made it to this stage. Mineta.
That didn't even have anything to do with his father being an asshole to his own son. Shouta was a lot of things but he wouldn't hold a kid ever accountable for their parents' failings. The issue was that he could already see the boy being a liability to himself and others in the field from how he had clearly been totally panicked facing off against the robots. While some of his take downs of the robots had been clever traps on his part, he had ultimately scored the majority of his points by throwing the balls created from his Quirk in a haphazard manner while running away.
With a sigh, he took the file as well.
Kan frowned as he took the rest and flipped through them. "You couldn't have left me with a few more heavy hitters? I think the only one in here that made the top ten was Tetsutetsu."
Shouta sighed again. "Sorry but trust me, you will be glad I took them all later."
Kan paused as he stopped his flip through. "You took Mineta? Should I be worried you are going to take out what his father did to your kid out on him?"
Shouta shook his head. "If we had done this the normal way I still would have taken him. His behavior during the exam was a massive red flag for me. After he bombs the Quirk Aperhintion test, I'll kick him down to Gen Ed and take the kid he was clearly mistakenly given the place of."
"You aren't worried that Midoriya will do poorly with his lack of Quirk?"
"I am pretty sure Izuku is in better shape then some of the others that will be in his class. Unless someone really surprises me, he is probably going to place first in the toe touches and sit ups if nothing else then because of his flexibility and endurance from running around as a Vigilante."
Kan considered that before shrugging. "I suppose you would know better than I would. Still, what makes you so sure he will bomb."
Shouta spread out the files in front of him for Kan to see. "Just think of how he likely would stack up against everyone else here. The only ones he might beat probably should be kicked out too if it happens."
