"Alright."
Han nodded once, showing no hesitation.
The two Jinchūriki turned their gazes toward Shiki at the same time.
"Boil Release — Vapor Armor!"
"Lava Release — Chakra Mode!"
One figure burst forth in scorching white steam, the other blazing crimson with flowing magma.
The two shot into the air simultaneously, rushing straight at Shiki.
"Huh?"
Shiki's attention had been focused on Ōnoki.
He hadn't even bothered using Haki—
And by the time he reacted, Han and Rōshi were already on him.
Bang!
Armament Haki surged over Shiki's twin blades as he crossed them, blocking their fists head-on.
The clash didn't injure him...
But the sheer force still drove him down into the ground.
"Lord Shiki!"
Hyūga Hiashi and the others immediately rushed forward in alarm.
After all, Shiki was the lynchpin of the entire battlefield. If he fell, Konoha's chances collapsed with him.
Shiki merely lifted a hand, signaling that he was fine.
He said nothing.
His eyes never left Ōnoki.
"Yo! Old man—looks like you couldn't handle it yourself."
Rōshi chuckled as he spoke, though his eyes stayed locked on Shiki.
"Heh."
Ōnoki snorted.
After working together for so long, he was long used to Rōshi and Han's attitudes.
"You two aren't exactly young yourselves."
"People call me old, yet you talk like you're still in your prime."
Then his expression hardened.
"Be careful. That man… he's no ordinary shinobi."
"Don't worry. You don't need to tell us that."
Han rolled his shoulders.
If Shiki were weak, Ōnoki wouldn't have been forced into such a state.
"I'll test him first."
Han stepped forward and vanished.
"Boil Release — Unmatched Strength!"
White steam exploded from his body as he charged.
The Four-Tails and Five-Tails both possessed unique powers. As Jinchūriki, Rōshi and Han had drawn deeply from their tailed beasts.
Rōshi's lava.
Han's boiling vapor—superheated to an extreme.
Combined with his monstrous physique, Han's taijutsu was terrifying.
Shiki watched the charging figure calmly.
"Hmph."
With a faintly disdainful smile, he sheathed his blades and clenched a Haki-coated fist.
He charged back.
"Nani?!"
Han assumed that Shiki setting aside his swords meant he was being underestimated.
Until their fists collided.
Only then did he realize how wrong he was.
"Lava Release — Burning River Rock Technique!"
At the same time, Rōshi surged forward, hurling massive magma fireballs—each seven or eight meters across—straight at Shiki.
"Sovereign Wave!"
Shiki disengaged instantly, cleaving the molten projectiles cleanly in half.
"Dust Release — Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"
BOOM—!
The space where Shiki stood was swallowed by blinding light, reduced to nothingness.
"Hah. The old man's still the same—only good at sneak attacks."
Rōshi laughed as he relaxed slightly.
Han nodded.
Ōnoki's methods were ruthless but effective.
Ōnoki himself remained stone-faced.
"What do you know?" he snapped. "As long as you win, the method doesn't matter."
Rōshi and Han frowned, dissatisfied but Ōnoki was just as displeased with them.
Everything I do is for Iwagakure… and you dare question me?
"Lord Shiki!"
Konoha's side froze in shock.
Among them, only Kurenai—who had been watching Shiki from the beginning—remained calm.
Shiki-nii won't lose here.
He can't.
Ōnoki had already turned his gaze toward the Konoha shinobi.
"Now," he said coldly, "it's your turn."
Once they're crushed… Iwagakure wins this war.
Then...
"So confident?"
A calm, indifferent voice sounded behind him.
"Nani?!"
Ōnoki turned—
And saw Shiki floating behind him, completely unscathed.
There was no time to form seals.
Bang! Bang!
Two heavy impacts echoed.
Ōnoki's legs collapsed, severed cleanly.
"AAAAH—!!"
Agony exploded through him as he fell.
"Boil Release—!" "Lava Release—!"
Rōshi and Han moved instantly...
But instead of attacking Shiki, they grabbed Ōnoki and retreated at full speed.
"Ohh Daddy!"
Kitsuchi rushed forward.
Ōnoki glared at Shiki with venomous hatred.
"You bastard…!"
Losing his legs didn't weaken him much as a shinobi—
But the humiliation would follow him for life.
"Oh my."
Shiki shrugged casually.
"I heard your relationship with Kumogakure isn't great. I cut off the Third Raikage's arm… figured I'd take your legs to balance things out."
"…I'll balance your ##*!"
Ōnoki was so furious he could barely curse properly.
Shiki continued leisurely.
"Besides, you can fly, right? Those legs were useless anyway. I did you a favor."
"…So I should thank you?!"
Ōnoki's rage burned hotter than the pain.
He turned sharply toward Rōshi and Han.
"Kill him!"
"As long as this man lives, Iwagakure will never defeat Konoha!"
"Kill him—no matter what!"
Rōshi and Han exchanged glances.
Honestly, neither of them wanted to continue.
But Ōnoki had spoken.
They sighed, stepped forward, and faced Shiki.
"You really want to go all out?" Rōshi asked.
Shiki tilted his head, smiling faintly.
In his eyes, the two Jinchūriki didn't even register as a threat.
"Come together."
"Let's go, old man."
