Chapter 4 - A Million views already

The second guest to arrive was Cindy Cheng, who, upon opening the door, was met by the sight of a 'corpse' lying in the center.

Cindy Cheng: "...Is this some sort of prank?

Isn't this supposed to be a casual, everyday life and travel-themed reality show?"

The production crew was helpless.

To prevent any misunderstandings, they had no choice but to clarify.

"This is the first guest to arrive, Miss Sofia Cheng."

Sofia? Her younger sister? Cindy Cheng looked at the person lying on the floor and couldn't help but walk over.

Upon noticing the rises and falls of the blanket that covered the body, she realized it was a living person.

"What happened to her? Why is she lying here?

Is this your request or a prank you've played on her?"

Production crew: ... Despite the accusations, even if we were to play a prank, we would never go this far!

We're a respectable entertainment show!

[Audience: Hahaha, the second guest has started to question the director.

Sofia is quite the character, isn't she?]

[Audience: Holy crap! This must be the real rich lady, right?

The program actually managed to get both the real and fake heiress!

That's impressive!]

[Audience: Isn't the production crew afraid these sisters will start fighting on the show?

The plot line of real and fake heiress is too exciting!]

[Audience: The real heiress certainly has a superior disposition.

Unlike someone I know, even a mountain of chicken can't transform her into a phoenix!]

The live chat room was in an uproar; everyone thought the production crew was shrewd for bringing in the hot topic of the true and fake heiress.

However, they loved witnessing such chaotic situations; it's not something you see every day!

The third guest is an idol singer from the entertainment industry named Micheal Boa.

He's not very old, but he has a considerable amount of female fans.

When he entered, the chat room reached a climax, with his name being constantly displayed on the screen.

Upon entering, Micheal Boa took a curious glance at the unidentified object in the middle and cast a puzzled look at Cindy.

Cindy didn't really want to explain, but it was impossible to act aloof in front of the cameras.

"That person on the ground is my sister, Sofia."

Despite having little affection for her, the relationship between the two is undeniably genuine.

Micheal Boa: ... "What happened to your sister?

Why is she lying there like a corpse, it's quite scary."

Cindy Cheng: ... How would I know?

Neither of them were particularly gregarious.

After exchanging greetings, the atmosphere cooled down.

They could only hear Sofia's faint snoring sounds -- must have cricked her neck.

But in this quiet space, the sound of snoring was particularly loud, and paired with the two sitting on either side, it created an unexpectedly comedic scene.

Prompted by Sofia's suggestion, the program team quickly brought over several chairs.

A total of six chairs, three on the left and three on the right, with Sofia lying in the middle.

The program crew wanted to line up the chairs in a row, but with Sofia lying in the middle, they had to place the chairs on either side of her instead.

The current scene was when Cindy was sitting on the left of Sofia, Micheal was sitting on the right, and the two were looking at Sofia in the middle.

[Suddenly, things seem to have become serious.

I can't help but feel like we're missing a sign and an altar in the middle.]

"Hahaha!

This oddly resembles a wake!

The surroundings were primarily white to begin with, and yet this joker named Sofia Cheng is lying down in the middle.

I have no idea what the production crew was thinking, they even placed six chairs beside her.

Are the guests supposed to come and pay their respects?", came the comment.

The passersby found the scene quite amusing, yet Micheal's legion of female fans were fuming.

"Is Sofia purposefully trying to grab Micheal's attention?

Does she honestly think pulling these petty stunts will make Micheal notice her?

How disgusting!", another fan remarked.

"Micheal, don't pay attention to Sofia!

It will taint your eyes!"

The internet was ablaze with comments as the actual scene descended into a silence as serene as a chicken's.

Micheal would have liked to engage in some small talk with this affluent socialite, but feared that it could lead to annoyance.

Looking at the 'body' lying on the ground, a tinge of disgust flashed across his eyes.

If she hadn't been lying there, the atmosphere wouldn't be as awkward.

Indeed, fake is fake; merely looking at it unsettles the stomach.

Just as these two individuals could no longer maintain their patience, the third and fourth guests finally made their appearance.

The moment they appeared, another wave of minor climaxes ensued.

"Eric Huo! It's Eric Huo!" "Nelly Shan! Nelly Shan showed up too.

What kind of sorcery does the production team employ to be able to gather this group of people?

These are some of the most popular people in town!"

These two entered with smiles on their faces, but upon witnessing the scene in front of them, they stifled their grins almost immediately.

"I'm sorry, we must have taken a wrong turn," the duo said swiftly before shutting the door.

How could someone conduct a funeral at an airport!

How was the 'body' brought in!

The production team: ... Cindy Cheng: .... "What are you still blanking out for!

Hurry up and bring the person back!"

The director only reacted then, quickly instructing the staff to go for the people.

What in the world was happening here?! [Hahahaha, I'm sorry, I really didn't want to laugh, but I couldn't help it.

[Did any of you capture the expressions of Eric Huo and Nelly Shan just now?

They could totally be made into an emoji set. The doubting duo!]

[Hahaha! The director was shocked! He even had to send people to retrieve the people.

Before, I always thought that Reality shows followed a script, but now I believe they don't.

The director was taken aback on the spot.]

When Eric Huo and Nelly Shan were brought back, their faces were full of bafflement.

Once they understood what had occurred, they looked at the certain person on the ground with particularly complex expressions.

They knew Sofia, who was neither cold nor enthusiastic in their circle.

However, nobody had dared to offend her in the past due to her identity as a rich heiress.

Imagine their surprise when she had fallen to such a state after losing her rich identity.

They initially wanted to have a chat, but the current atmosphere was really not suited for chatting.

So both of them found a corner to sit.

As the crowd grew larger, the place increasingly gave off the feeling of a memorial service.

Perhaps because Sofia was tired from sleep, she even turned around.

Nelly was startled by that.

Oh my!

They knew she was a real person, but it was really quite scary all of a sudden.

Despite the stares of so many people, Sofia seemed to be unbothered, still blissfully asleep clasping her little blanket.

Well, it was understandable given that she woke up too early today and slept late last night due to packing.

"Where on earth did this person come from!

Why did nobody inform me that Sofia acts this way!"

The director was genuinely so irritated that his head hurt.

He originally planned a dramatic confrontation between the real and fake heiress, but now what kind of confrontation is this even!

The atmosphere at the scene is unbearably awkward!

"Why aren't they saying anything, if they don't speak, who will watch this!"

Did we bring all these people here to play silent roles?

At least contribute something to the entertainment factor!

The director was genuinely worried about his viewer ratings.

A staff member beside him quietly said, "Director, the live viewer count has already broken 1 million."

The Director: !!! What did you say!
