Aira rushes to Togata side as she puts him upright. Holding him in her arms as she checks if he's breathing.
''Togata!?....He's not breathing! Dammit! That thing totally stepped on him!''. Aira shouts as she opens his mouth and blood comes out.
''Huh..!?...Togata! No hey! Don't die on me! Tick! Tick! Tick!''. Aira shouts as she puts him down and starts giving him chest compressions.
But as she does blood comes out more from his mouth so she stops and carries him again trying to drag him out of the classroom but she can't.
''Ugh! I'm too weak!''. Aira shouts.
She holds him as she slaps him trying to wake him up. ''Togata! I'm begging you! Wake up! Please...Takakura! Momo! Anyone! Help!''.
Tears start to flow from her eyes as she looks down at him.
''A...Aira...''. Togata spurts as more blood comes out from his mouth.
''Hey! Togata! You're gonna be okay! Don't speak!''. Aira says as she looks around for a first aid kit, still holding him.
''Wait...Aira...''. Togata says.
''Yeah...What's wrong?''. Aira says softly as she wipes tears from her eyes.
''I....I thought you said you didn't care about me YOU LIAR!''. Togata shouts as he laughs and coughs. ''Ouch''.
''Huh...HUH!?''. Aira shouts as she drops his head.
''OW!''. Togata says holding his head.
''You...You're alive..!?''. Aira shouts pointing at him furious.
''Yeah...I won't....die that easily...But...You were all sad, I didn't know you cared boss lady''. Togata jokes as he holds his chest in pain.
''You....How!?''. Aira shouts.
''Healing, I can speed up my healing process with Tick's power''. Togata says as he checks his hair which is almost completely white. ''I'm just running out of life force, it lasted longer than I expected, it usually only does like this when Tick is...''.
''YOU....YOU...HAHAHA''. Aira laughs maniacally.
''...Uh...huh?''. Togata asks.
''Oh I'm glad you're alright...CAUSE I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!''. Aira shouts as she breaks a leg off of the piano and throws it at him.
''Ow! I am still hurt though wait! Wait!''. Togata says putting his hands up.
''AHHHRG!''. Aira shouts as she jumps towards him sending a flying kick with both legs that smashes him into the wall.
''Ugh! Hey! Calm down I'm sorry! I didn't know you'd take it like this!''. Togata shouts.
''What kind of piece of shit bastard pretends to be dead!''. Aira screams as she chases him around the room managing to grab his leg causing him to fall to the ground as she jumps on top of him and tries to punch him repeatedly.
''OUCH! Sorry! Really!''. Togata shouts.
''I'll kill you!''. Aira shouts.
Togata manages to hold her arms back. ''Stop! We shouldn't waste our strength!''.
''Oh I'm plenty strong!''. Aira shouts still struggling.
Meanwhile outside the music class the students are still looking for Tick.
''Hey did you hear that? I heard voices coming this way!''. The boy shouts excitedly as he rushes towards the music class.
''And can someone tell me why we're chasing a ghost!''. The other boy shouts.
''I second that...!''. A girl says cowering behind the other scared boy.
''Because they aren't real! Someone's probably playing a trick on us, I'm sure of it''. A girl shouts determined as she follows the boy running towards the classroom.
''Oh yeah, well we'll see won't we!?''. The boy shouts.
They arrive at the class as they sneak carefully then jump out screaming.
''AHHHHH!''. They shout.
They scare Togata and Aira still fighting on the ground who turn to look at the students.
''Huh!?''. They both say as Togata loses his grip on Aira's arms and she falls on top of him, mouth to mouth.
Aira stares at Togata blushing as Togata stares back blushing furiously.
''HUH!? AHHHH!''. The students shout watching the scene.
Aira immediately pushes of him screaming incredibly loud as she gets up and kicks Togata in the nuts.
''AHHHHH! YOU BASTARD YOU....YOU...KISSED ME! HOW DARE YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITATUATION LIKE THAT!''. Aira screams pointing at him.
''UGH! I didn't! I lost my grip and you fell! You're the one that initiated it, If anything!''. Togata shouts holding his nuts in pain.
''Toriyama...And Shiratori!?''. The girl says.
''WERE YOU??...YOU WERE TOTALLY MAKING OUT IN THE SCHOOL AT NIGHT!''. The boy shouts.
''WE WERE NOT!!''. Aira shouts back pointing furiously.
''Who cares about that where's the ghost!''. The other boy shouts.
''Ghost...?''. Togata thinks to himself as he sighs on the ground. ''Tick...''.
''You were so we just caught you!''. The girl shouts.
''We...Weren't...Aira just fell accidently on top of me...''. Togata says getting up.
''Yeah I just fell!''. Aira shouts.
''And what are you doing in the school at night?''. The boy asks.
''I was going to ask you the same thing...I was finishing a project cause it's due tomorrow in the science club...And Aira said she would uhh..Come with but then we heard something so we came to check on the music class but nothing was here, then she uhh yeah fell''. Togata explains.
''Oh, well....sorry I just misunderstood I guess''. The girl replies almost relieved.
''And what are you four doing here!?''. Aira asks crossing her arms, turning the tables on them.
''We uhh...We...''. The boy stammers.
Togata adjusts his glasses as he looks at them with a serious look. ''And do you even have permission to be here?''.
''We....I...''. The boy stammers.
''It's alright just head home, it's late and we have school in the morning''. Togata says.
''Please don't report us!''. The girl says.
''Alright listen up, this won't leave our lips if it doesn't leave yours agreed?''. Aira asks.
''Agreed''. The students say as they walk away.
Aira and Togata sigh.
''Tick Tick Tick''. Togata calls as Tick materializes.
''Ya bastard where were you! I tried to call you for help but you didn't come!''. Aira shouts.
''My apologies miss Shiratori! Young master! I'm so sorry! I was caught by some kind of device! I'm so useless!''. Tick cries dramatically.
''It's alright Tick never mind that we're okay''. Togata says.
''I don't believe you''. Aira says angry.
''Calm down, he's not lying, when a ghost is summoned they have to come, it's not a choice and they can't refuse''. Togata explains.
''Ugh fine''. Aira sighs.
Togata walks over to the paintings on the wall, two of them seem to have disintegrated and are no ash on the floor.
Aira and Tick walk over with him.
''Did we beat them?''. Aira asks.
''No, only the one's that I managed to kill with my scythe, the rest are still there''. Togata says as he touches the ash.
Suddenly the ash raises and reforms into the two paintings as though they were never destroyed.
''HUH! Why did they do that!''. Aira shouts.
Togata is surprised then sighs. ''I thought this would happen, since we didn't kill the main musician it seems the others can regenerate, it's like a co-existence thing, we'll have to try again''.
''Again!? No! I'm out!''. Aira shouts.
''Not now, calm down, but we can't leave them here either''. Togata says as he takes the paintings off the wall and gives three to Aira. ''Here take some, we'll carry them back to miss Seiko she'll probably be able to seal them until we're ready to try again''. Togata says.
''Ugh, fine, I hate this, and you're gonna have to do this with other spirits as well!? What kind of dumb job is this!''. Aira shouts.
''Yeah...I know''. Togata sighs. ''Let's go it's getting late''.
The three leave the school as they walk to Momo's house paintings in hand as the night sky is lit up with stars.
Aira sighs exhausted as she walks.
''Hey...If you're tired, you can go home, I can deliver these myself, I live there now anyway''. Togata says.
''Indeed miss Shiratori, you've fought hard, you may go get some rest, me and the young master will be okay''. Tick says offering to hold the paintings.
Aira gives them to him as she sighs. ''No, I'll accompany you till you get there just in case, we don't know what effect taking them out of the school will have, better to play it safe right?''.
''Yeah, guess so''. Togata replies.
''Hey...About your house, how much longer till it's done...If I'm not overstepping my boundaries''. Aira asks.
Togata smiles as he looks down exhausted. ''Of course not...Well it'll take a while but we're getting there, I'll be home soon enough''.
''That's...Great...I'm glad''. Aira replies.
Togata rubs his hair nervously. ''Aira, I'm sorry about earlier it wasn't on purpose...Back there the...Umm..Ki...''.
Aira cuts him off. ''No...It was not a kiss okay! It was an accident! And you'll never speak of it again hear me!''.
Togata nods yes.
''Which kiss!?''. Tick shouts.
''Nothing!''. Aira shouts.
Tick hands Aira the paintings as he immediately flies into Togata's body and comes out gasping. ''OH MY, Young master!''.
''I hate that so much!''. Aira shouts.
''Miss Shiratori! You...and the young master have shared a kiss! That was the young masters first! You have stolen his first kiss you vile seductress! oh my!!!!!!!''. Tick exclaims. ''Young master I told you to inform me when you fancy someone!''.
''Don't be dramatic Tick''. Togata sighs blushing slightly.
''Like I said it was not a kiss! It was just a mouth touching another...Like mouth to mouth! Is that a kiss!?''. Aira asks furiously.
Tick nods no as he sighs a sigh of relief. ''I believe you are right, young master your first kiss is still intact!''.
''Tick...Not now''. Togata sighs as he stretches his neck.
''Ugh, I hate this...Why couldn't it have been Takakura and I back there not you!''. Aira complains.
Everything goes silent for a while.
Togata looks over at her. ''You...You like Okarun a lot don't you?''.
''Of course I do, he's smart and sweet and super strong, nothing like you, pretending to be dead''. Aira shouts.
Togata smiles but thinks deeply. ''Yeah, he's a really good guy...It's just...Whenever I see you with him you act differently, like you're pretending...Forgive me if I'm overstepping it's just...Shouldn't someone like you for who you are?''.
Aira is stopped in her tracks as she realizes what he just said.
''Oh my''. Tick says.
Togata notices he might have gone too far. ''Forgive me really...Don't mind what I just said...I'm just asking a question...I don't really know much about this type of things, and I'm trying to understand you know?''.
''Well...Yeah, you don't...That's not how it works in real life! I mean when you go on a date you dress up all fancy, girls put on makeup and guys are on their best behavior, that isn't the real them is it!?''. Aira says defensively.
''Yeah...I guess not''. Togata replies.
''Yeah...I guess so! So I'm just acting in a way that's presentable alright!? Psh, you really don't know anything about relationships, that's why you'll die single and alone''. Aira comments.
''Ouch''. Togata replies smiling slightly.
''Miss Shiratori! Do not say such things!!''. Tick shouts.
Togata looks at Tick and just sighs.
''...Presentable...But I think this version of you is presentable, I actually prefer this version''. Togata says.
''Huh? Damn liar no one likes a girl that shouts slurs at them and kicks them in the nuts''. Aira replies. ''So we have to act all lovey dovey and stuff, that's a tip for you by the way''.
''Oh...Well then it's just me...People that heed to your every beck and call are boring in my opinion,....when people fawn over you it's not them it's just that they want something from you, I've been used to that my whole life so when I meet someone like that now it kind of pisses me off. I prefer someone with character, someone who would smack me when I'm wrong''. Togata says with a smile.
''Noted young master any other specifications?''. Tick asks writing it down.
''Where did you even get a pen and paper seriously?''. Togata asks confused.
''I...See''. Aira replies. ''So you're one of those guys who prefer someone who'll kick their ass, what are you a masochist?''.
Togata rubs his neck nervously. ''Uh no...''. He says with a smile. ''I guess...It's just my life hasn't always been the safest...So I don't need someone I'll need to protect the rest of my life, I need people who can hold their own. Someone to fight beside, not to save, like you guys''.
''Yeah...Of course we can hold our on''. Aira replies proudly.
Togata laughs as he turns to face the road.
''I couldn't lose someone else I care about at this point...I guess I just wouldn't be able to handle it''. Togata sighs.
''Young master!''. Tick cries dramatically as he hugs him. ''Yes, that is it, reveal your soft side to your potential suitors and they will fall head over heels for you!''.
''Tick...That's enough for tonight''. Togata says with a smile.
Aira looks at him and she doesn't reply until they reach the house.
''Here we are...Thanks for all the help again, goodnight''. Togata says as he takes the paintings from her.
''Why did you tell me all this stuff?''. Aira asks.
Togata is surprised by the question as he looks away. ''I guess I just wanted to know your opinion on the subject...Like I said a while back, there isn't a manual for these types of things, so your advice is always a great help, cause I trust you..., thank you, by the way''. Togata replies.
''Well...You're welcome...Goodnight''. Aira replies as she turns around quickly walking back home.
''Well then shall we put these things away?''. Tick asks.
''Yeah...''. Togata replies still staring at Aira.
Togata and Tick walk over to the shrine house and throw the paintings inside, then they go inside the house as Togata gets ready for bed.
''Goodnight young master sleep well''. Tick says as he floats off.
''Goodnight Tick''. Togata replies.
Togata rolls on his mat bed trying to go sleep but then he turns to face the ceiling.
He thinks about the kiss earlier as he blushes, then shakes his head and rubs his eyes.
''Ugh, stop thinking about that...Aira already said it meant nothing.....Asking about relationship advice from her, ugh what's wrong with me?''. Togata sighs to himself.
But he just can't manage to get the memory out of his head. ''Aira didn't even act differently after...She was so calm but here I am thinking about it! I'm such a nerd, c'mon! Go to sleep! We have school tomorrow!''. Togata tells himself as he smacks his face and struggles to go to sleep.
