Meanwhile over at the royal courtyard building, Elara raised Edward from his kneeling position, her mind rushing and at the same time going slow.
She knows that she has a lot of enemies here so having someone that has her back would be really nice.
"I don't know if I can truly trust you…" she trails off, he was the one who wanted to kill her three nights ago, so why the sudden change of heart.
"I don't mind spending the rest of my life proving to you that you can trust me." he replied confidently.
"Okay," she sighs as she rests on her left foot. "Who ordered you to kill me that night?" he frowns, ashamed.
"I don't know my lady, they don't normally tell us who hired us, we just have to do our work. But I promise to look into it just to gain your trust"
Just then both Elara and Edward tense up as they share a look. "Someone's coming," they both whispered in unison, and Edward quickly and quietly made himself scarce.
