Chapter 3 - The First Meeting

Chicago. Among the attendees at tonight's art exhibition are Jack Lewis, the owner of the Splendour hotel chain, and Mia Ford, a successful writer. They were strangers to one another.

The moment Jack saw her, he made his move.

"Hello, my name is Jack Lewis."

"I'm Mia Ford. I'm a writer."

Mia had chosen a sky-blue dress that accentuated her youthful glow. She has a slender body, long legs, and a sharp, defined chin. Her face is elegant and alluring, framed by full lips. Her light brown hair radiated a soft, feminine aura.

Mia was breathtakingly pretty, and Jack couldn't help but feel a sudden surge of desire. His athletic build and undeniable handsomeness took Mia by surprise as well.

"Do you enjoy art?" he asked.

"I don't know much about it," she replied shyly.

"Would you like me to be your guide? We can learn together."

She didn't say a word; she simply smiled, looking like a blossoming flower—soft, fresh, and irresistibly attractive.

He led the way, describing each piece and artist with exaggerated patience, justifying his every evaluation. She nodded along, appearing to be paying close attention.

Jack loved looking at her exquisite face, but he realized that her presence was affecting him deeply, making him feel uncharacteristically nervous and restless. He longed to hold her, wondering if he should try to bridge the distance between them.

Jack moved his arms around her. The firmness of her breasts felt like a silent invitation, sending his pulse into a frantic race.

She remained silent. She looked up at Jack, her eyes shimmering with uncertainty.

He wanted to take her to bed right then and there—to tear the dress from her body and feel her bare breasts in the palms of his hands.

She didn't speak or move. She simply watched the man who, unbeknownst to him, was like a fish caught on a hook. Jack knew he had to try a new tactic to win over this beautiful woman.

As the evening progressed, Mia found that she appreciated the conversation more than the paintings. Jack's knowledge and enthusiasm for art were captivating. She found herself getting lost in his eyes while he spoke. His gaze made her feel warm and safe, as if the entire world revolved only around the two of them. She wanted to get closer to him, but the thought made her blush.

They talked about art, movies, music, and travel. Jack mentioned he owned the Splendour hotel chain, while she shared that she had lived in Colombia and wasn't yet very familiar with Chicago. She realized he must have started his business while still a student, imagining he possessed a formidable personality to achieve such success.

They talked and got to know each other better as the night went on.

Later, Jack drove her home. When they stopped, he kissed her. Their hands began to explore one another; Jack caressed her breasts and kissed her neck.

"I want you," he said, his voice thick with longing. "So much."

"I understand," she replied, "and I'm glad to hear that. But I think it's better if we wait. I'm not in the habit of tumbling into bed with men on the first date. And besides... we'll enjoy ourselves much more in a place that is more spacious and intimate."

Mia felt a pang of sadness as the evening ended and it was time to say goodbye.

"It was a pleasure meeting you, Jack. I truly enjoyed myself, but I have to go now."

They agreed to meet again later that week.
