Xie Fang was sitting in the main hall where guests were usually received. His posture was relaxed, as if the one who had caused the storm in court was not him at all.
"Your Highness, Minister Zhang is here," Attendant Lu said as he stepped forward and whispered beside him.
Xie Fang took a sip of tea. A floral fragrance bloomed on his tongue, making him squint in pleasure. "Invite him in," he said as the tea went down his throat.
Attendant Lu went outside and invited Zhang Zhenhua in. He softly closed the door, leaving only two people in the hall.
"This minister greets Your Highness." Zhang Zhenhua slightly lowered his head.
"No need to be polite." Xie Fang waved his hand. His tone was mysterious as he said, "After all, we are from the same place."
Zhang Zhenhua paused. "This minister does not understand Your Highness's words." He let out an embarrassed laugh.
However, Xie Fang didn't explain further and gestured for Minister Zhang to take a seat beside him.
