Xiao Ba was having a very pleasant dream. In his dream, he passed the test and became the most powerful being—the Protector of the Universe.
He was sitting on his throne, looking down from a high place at all the beings beneath him, when suddenly the ground beneath him shook and he felt his body being suspended in the air by something invisible.
Xie Fang panicked and quickly shook Xiao Ba, who was sleeping, but he didn't wake up. Xie Fang grabbed Xiao Ba's body midair and was about to let go when suddenly Xiao Ba's angry voice came from below.
"How dare you, a mere peasant like you, touch my holy body and even attempt to murder me in my sleep!", Xiao Ba roared in anger.
At the same time, the maid called out to Xie Fang again with a worried tone, "Young master, are you not feeling well?"
Xie Fang didn't have much time to explain everything to Xiao Ba so he quickly whispered, "The intruder is here." Before he quickly replied to the maid standing outside, "No, you may go down. I'll be there in a while."
The maid, relieved, said yes and walked away.
Xiao Ba angrily looked at Xie Fang, "Even if the intruder is standing in front of you, you can't touch me or act so rudely."
He turned into an orb and said, "Today is your first time so I'm letting you go but if it happens again..."
He didn't complete his words but Xie Fang knew what he meant. Xie Fang quickly nodded, apologising and asked, "Shall we go to meet this world's intruder?"
Xiao Ba nodded, "Of course, let me see how much luck value this ant has accumulated so far."
He floated with an arrogant expression while Xie Fang followed behind him slowly.
They walked down the stairs and went to the dining room, where three people were already seated.
The three people seemed to be having an interesting conversation. Two people were sitting on the left side while an elegant-looking middle-aged lady was sitting on the other side.
There was a harmonious atmosphere around them.
Seeing someone walking over, the elegant-looking lady glanced over, when she saw Xie Fang, a warm smile appeared on her face, "Ah Fang, come sit beside Mom."
Mrs. Xie patted the seat beside her and said to Xie Fang in a warm tone.
Xie Fang smiled warmly and called out to his mother and brother, "What were you guys talking?"
Xie Fang behaved naturally as if the original Xie Fang's soul was never replaced.
Xiao Ba was shocked because this boy looked timid and unsocial most of the time but now, he looked like a real "Xie Fang". Xiao Ba was really impressed by him and said, "I really underestimated you, boy."
Xie Fang acted like he didn't hear him and looked straight towards his brother with a warm smile on his face.
Xie Shing's cheeks were red due to shyness, he quickly said, "Nothing, since everyone is here, let's eat now." but his mother chimed in, "We were just discussing your brother's marriage."
She thought about something and said again, "You and Li Yuxi had never met before, right? She is the one your brother has been chasing relentlessly. Now they are finally together."
Xie Fang and Li Yuxi looked at each other and nodded politely. While they were talking, the servants had put all the dishes on the table.
All the dishes were light, something only a patient would normally eat, but everyone in the Xie family ate these kinds of dishes to make Xie Fang feel included.
All the people present ate their lunch quietly. Li Yuxi also didn't express any displeasure with the dishes, which made Mrs. Xie's impression of her rise.
She was very pleased with her future daughter-in-law.
After lunch, Li Yuxi, Xie Shing and Xie Fang were sitting in the living room while Mrs. Xie went out with her friends.
