For the next few days, the trio made the pack a well-oiled machine. The Stone-horn tribe and the River clan arrived two days later. They walked among the pack. There were not many houses available to hold them, but they showed no reluctance to stay under the stars.
Gorn commented that staying on the ground is something he had done a lot growing up. And that the caldera was much warmer than outside. Staying on the ground for a while would not cause damage. Beastmen were strong enough to withstand such things.
The River clan also did not complain. They knew the Warm Pack had no obligation to keep them in their territory.
Of course, not everyone agreed. There was some contention between people from all three tribes. However, they only grumbled and did not raise their heads in protest. It was understood that this was a special period.
Should anything happen to either of the tribes, it was good to know that each had a partner they could fall back on.
