Uri felt his jaw clench as he listened to Visha's conversation with the couple.
Xeno's nostrils flared, but he didn't say anything.
Visha felt the change in them both.
She felt the sense of betrayal that Uri felt. She felt the anger rising in Xeno. She wasn't sure what she should do at this point. She didn't know why they were angry.
She walked away without a word. She knew they would follow her, and they did.
They bypassed the pack and went deeper into the ruins. They stopped in a closed room. Visha walked inside first, turning only when she was sure both men had come in.
The three people stood, not saying anything. The tension was palpable. This was something that had never happened before. The two men stood in front of Visha. Uri's icy stare and Xeno's burning eyes made Visha feel cold. She was already feeling their disappointment.
"They aren't bad people," Visha said quietly.
