Hestia and Lili, still shocked, sat back down. One million Valis! That was enough to transfer Lili.

Hestia bowed to Lin Feng.

Lin Feng quickly helped her up.

Hestia complained, but her smile showed she wasn't truly angry with Hephaistos anymore.
With the main issue resolved, Lin Feng, Hestia, and Lili continued to eat and chat, with bursts of laughter filling the air.

Seryu took Koro to intercept the Imps.
The Silverback was the strongest elite monster on this floor, second only to the rare Miniature Dragon. Silverbacks were common elite monsters. Their strategy was to blind the Silverback by attacking its eyes when it created an opening by attacking one of them.
Their strategy worked. The Silverback focused on the moving target, Hayasaka Ai. The massive ape roared and swung a tree it uprooted at Hayasaka Ai. Saeko Busujima, seeing Hayasaka Ai targeted, pushed her speed beyond its limit. Her eyes, filled with the fiery red killing intent from her Lust for Slaughter Skill, helped boost her movement.
Hayasaka Ai skillfully dodged the massive blow. Saeko Busujima seized the opening, leaped high, and a cold flash sliced across the Silverback's eyes. Hayasaka Ai and Saeko Busujima quickly retreated. The Silverback roared, clutching its head, throwing the tree aside.
The monsters nearby, scared by the Silverback's rampage, tried to flee. Hayasaka Ai, Saeko Busujima, and Seryu blocked their escape routes, forcing them to fight the blinded Silverback. The Silverback quickly eliminated most of the monsters around it. The few remaining monsters rushed towards Hayasaka Ai and her team, who easily dispatched them.
"Hahaha!"
Hayasaka Ai laughed heartily. Not many adventurers would provoke a monster-on-monster brawl!
The Silverback, now heavily wounded, roared weakly.
"Saeko, let me finish it off!"
Hayasaka Ai stepped forward. Saeko Busujima ceded the final blow.
Hayasaka Ai rushed forward, using Sonic Leap to appear instantly at the Silverback's neck. The powerful impact and the Katana's sharpness, combined with Hayasaka Ai's near-peak Level 1 Status, instantly decapitated the Silverback.
"Let me resurrect you!"
Saeko Busujima rushed forward before the corpse vanished. The Silverback was the strongest monster she had encountered, and even blinded, it killed many other monsters.
Saeko Busujima resurrected the elite monster. Hayasaka Ai and Seryu watched, and Natsuki Minamiya teleported over, examining the strange Katana. She realized the Silverback was not truly alive but reanimated by the sword's energy.
"Its strength has been reduced by... less than one-tenth?"
Saeko Busujima muttered, sensing a slight drain from her body.
"Saeko, this sword..."
Natsuki Minamiya asked, approaching Saeko Busujima.
"Oh, this sword is the Imperial Arm Eight Fangs: March of the Dead. It can resurrect and control corpses, but it consumes the user's strength. The more I control, the weaker I become."
"You should use this weapon sparingly, Saeko. It only helps if you resurrect strong corpses."
Natsuki Minamiya advised, slipping back into her teacher persona.
"Natsuki-chan, I know that. Lord God also told me the precautions when he gave me the weapon."
Saeko Busujima was happy for Natsuki Minamiya's concern.
"Mmhmm... its fur is quite nice!"
Natsuki Minamiya reached out and touched the Silverback's soft, white and gray fur. Megumi Katou and Kanae joined them. They cleared the Magic Stones and materials, then rested before heading to the 12th floor.
