Both Cain and Saphen thought that this bout of illness had come quickly and would leave just as quickly. Unexpectedly, in the middle of the night Saphen began vomiting. He had barely eaten anything all day, so there was hardly anything to throw up. What troubled him most was the burning pain in his throat, and his temperature began to rise again.
After being stuck in the hospital for several days, it was finally impossible to keep it hidden from Emily and Robert.
On the third day, Robert and Emily appeared directly at the door of the hospital room, intending to take Saphen home to recuperate.
By this time, Saphen was already much better. If nothing unexpected happened, he would be discharged the next day.
When Emily and Robert appeared, both Cain and Saphen could not help but be stunned.
"Mom, Dad..."
Saphen called softly, then could not help coughing a little.
Cain hurried to fetch warm water, but Robert had already brought a cup over to Saphen.
