At a bar near the school, someone nudged Vox on the shoulder. "What's up with Leader? Heartbroken?"
Vox turned around and flicked the guy on the head. "What are you thinking? Since when has our Leader had a lover?" After a pause, he added, "He probably had a fight with Saphen..."
Hearing that, a teammate couldn't help but laugh. "It's my first time seeing best friends like those two. They're probably even closer than real brothers."
Someone else laughed along. "Definitely closer. Do you see yourself sticking to your little brother the way Cain sticks to Saphen?"
That was indeed impossible.
"Someone stop Leader already. If he keeps drinking, he's going to get stomach bleeding."
Cain was sitting at the bar counter across the room, drinking nonstop. His entire face was still full of anger, so much so that no one who wanted to approach him dared to step forward.
