Night had fallen. She and Jefferson hadn't done much while in the hospital. Carabella had actually missed going out with her sweet lover, who always seemed so sweet. Especially now that Jefferson was no longer engaged to Larissa, they could date freely.
However, there are still some issues they must resolve, even though Alexander and Vilia have approved of their relationship. She must reveal the crimes her father has committed, and Jefferson must speak politely with Larissa's parents about the sudden annulment.
Since it was already late, she didn't want her boyfriend to stay up too late. So, she changed into her pajamas and set up a small bed for her to sleep in during her week in the hospital.
"Who told you to sleep there?" Jefferson scolded coldly.
She turned around and looked at her lover innocently. "Can't I sleep here?"
"You are a woman, you don't deserve to sleep in that ugly bed!"
