Upon arriving at the construction site, Jefferson was still fed up with visiting with his fiancée who kept flirting with him throughout the trip. Even Raul was fed up with her, even though his role was only as Jefferson's driver. Although Jefferson had been a bit excessive in treating Carabella, he knew he meant to show his genuine affection, while Larissa had only been pretending to win his heart.
Jefferson continued to smile at his fiancée. At least he was relieved to see Larissa still able to behave herself while accompanying him to work. If she acted clingy towards him, he didn't want to be laughed at by the construction workers.
The sun was so hot that he was worried about his fiancée overheating. He took the initiative to open an umbrella for her. His intention was to avoid rumors of being cruel to his partner.
