Jefferson's actual purpose in visiting the police station wasn't just to provide breakfast for his beloved woman, but to meet with the police commissioner. He's never been the type of man to play dirty or cause trouble. However, now that his beloved woman has been arrested in such a humiliating manner, he's out for revenge.
Jefferson entered the police commissioner's office on the top floor of the police station with a friendly smile. Although he and the commissioner weren't particularly close, he had already devised various scenarios to get the commissioner to comply.
"Jefferson, I didn't expect you to visit me so suddenly," the police commissioner greeted him, shaking his hand enthusiastically.
"Yes, because I just happened to want to visit you to ask how you're doing. My father has been very curious about you lately."
