Even though it was still early, Carabella still didn't want to let her boss take care of her all day. Her boss had already scheduled an important meeting with the marketing team today. Why did he have to postpone it suddenly just to take care of her now? Thinking about it all the time made less and less sense. Now she wanted to think of a way to stop her boss worrying so much and feeling guilty. Had she been overreacting to her past trauma?
Another heavy sigh escaped her lips. "Jeff, I really appreciate you taking such good care of me since yesterday. But I'm really fine now. Lina can take care of me while I clean the house."
"I don't want Lina to take care of you. Besides, I've already forbidden her from visiting this house because you have a fever."
Her eyes rolled. "So, what about Larissa? Aren't you going on a date with her this afternoon?"
"For today I will not date her again."
"Are you crazy? What if she hates you just because you don't care about her?"
"I don't care."
