under an oak tree, the voices of laughter filled the atmosphere.
"do you think they'll find us?" a little boy with dark red hair covered his mouth in excitement.
"shushh" the other boy giggled
"come on kakra, I'm bored, can they come already?"
"I caught you!! Payne, Kakra" voice appeared behind them echoed
the boys jumped.
"that's not fair.." Payne folded his arms angrily "Kakra you- you just have a loud mouth!"
"me!?" Kakra squeaked
"yes you!"
water flowed to the other twin "your mouth is bigger! I told you to shush" Kakra roared.
"Hey I'm wet.." he frowned.
a gush of air pushed him back slightly
"woah!" Payne pushed his hair from his face. "thank you Ria!"
the sound of children giggling continued...
that day.. what happened that day. Did I dream everything?" Payne's voice broke as his legs fastened cross the sandy floors.
his breath hitched, blood splurging from his body.
"ack-" his hands danced across his wounds "nearly to safety" his head turned towards the danger lurking in the shadows.
a breath of relief trailed across his pale lips. his body fell behind a familiar oak tree, the leaves withered under the hazy fog.
"payne" his name echoed
his body drained, like a dying leaf, trembling in fear he pressed his body firm against the the old tree. the tree desperately hiding him under his shadow.
the sound of chains rattled under the fog, his name echoed until a shadow appeared from the fog.
"Payne" out of the shadow a little boys voice shuddered, a heavy tight chain wrapped painfully around heart, his eyes darkened as blood tears rolled down his cheek, each step taken there, a painful groan followed.
"Kak..ra?" Payne screamed in terror.

"what happened after?" Thalia jumped behind Ravi.
"well, Nhyria said he was killed after" Nerina said calmly.
"Damn, that's really sad" Ravi pushed Thalia off him
"sad!? that's scary! and confusing!" Thalia stumbled back.
"Nhyria has many stories, she said some are real" Nerina shrugged.
"Real!? how are you two calm!? imagine seeing your dead friend's ghost in chains!?" Thalia played with her hair.
"that's never going to happen, that's why it's a story" Ravi scolded.
"you'll ever know, that's scary as fuck" she shuddered.
"is that a good story for this... spook season?" Nerina said.
"you bet, I won't be able to sleep, someone hug me when I sleep today"
