CHAPTER-
YUKI POV-
"Where is she!?" Ha Joon spoke frantically trying to dispose of the other earth classmate. "I hate to say that we need her so bad"
"She's taking the flags from the other group." Yuki stuttered. Clutching to her spiky choker for comfort.
"Yuki we need you! Wait no, Rei!"
Yuki fiddled with silver rings nervously. The earth students decided to gang up on us, and we're short numbered, me, the guy from earlier, and Ha Joon.
"You should've stayed in the healing place girl" a guy said, touching the ground with his fingers, causing the floor to become sluggish.
I shrieked as my body slowly got pulled down.
"This will be easy," the boy said.
"Water magic- acid rain!" I chanted in a hurry, my acid rain can cause distractions for now.
"We have the flag!" a boy who held Ha Joon's hand roughly said.
"This is their strongest group?" another boy laughed. "This is too easy!"
"Let's get out of here. " they all said, leaving us on the floor.
"Did it work?" the guy from earlier said.
"Yeah…" I sighed.
FLASHBACK TO THE CLASS MEETING-
"We have an advantage guys," Ha Joon said. Of course we can't do this for every flag"
"Just spit it out," the guy from earlier said.
"Fine, fine." He rolled his eyes. "We can create simple objects like this flag," he said, picking up the flag.
"My group, with that guy and Yuki can pretend as if we're weak and helpless, we will keep the real flag in Yuki's pocket, they won't suspect a woman is carrying a flag because well, they can't do anything" he said "if Yuki acts submissive and hopeless it will make it believable, and then!-"
"I get it!" the guy from earlier said. "We can pull it off," he clapped.
"Yeah, I can do that…" I said putting on my piercings.
"We might win this after all!" Everyone cheered.
I walked towards Nerina, noticing her stress.
"Let's do this hm?" I cheered as everyone whispered, I didn't care.
PRESENT-
"Do you still have the flag?" Ha Joon stood up painfully.
"Yeah" I pulled the flag out.
"I knew it," the guy from earlier said. "It worked," he laughed.
The same sound from earlier spoke. "The earth team has retrieved one flag, I repeat, the earth team has retrieved one flag"
"It's tied again, two flags from each team" he breathed.
THALIA POV-
After five minutes, I moved my fingers, my legs, then my body.
"Damn, strong students they had to be rank one" I mumbled to myself.
"Um, princess? I mean Thalia, I'm stuck" Hinata's voice echoed through the rock.
I forgot she was still there.
"Stay back, I'll punch the rocks" I said, tightening my fists, still feeling a bit light headed. I managed to land a soft punch on the rock.
Hinata quickly ran to my side.
"I'm sorry, I got easily trapped… we shouldn't fight… I don't know what they did to you but your body is weak. I can find Ravi so he can give you a healing potion?" She held me tightly.
"Yeah, okay" my shoulders relaxed when she held me.
"They took the flag didn't they?" Hinata trembled.
"Yeah" I replied.
Hinata gently pulled my weak body out of the cave.
"Thalia!? Thalia!? " Ravi's voice echoed through the cave.
"We are here!" Hinata signalled.
The footsteps grew closer and closer.
"There you are!" Ravi immediately leaped into my direction. "What happened!?" he shook.
"I was fighting Nerina and her new friends, and one of them controlled my body?" I answered.
"Isn't that power illegal? Who was it?" He stated.
"Is it? I don't have magic so I don't have a clue " I answered with curiosity.
"Apparently, it's illegal because of the merfolk," Ravi started.
"Don't talk about them Ravi, we'll get in trouble." Hinata cut in immediately.
"My bad," he spoke. "Here, have this potion, it will restore your strength" he gently opened the bottle before putting the liquid in my mouth.
"Mm, mint" I licked my lips. "yummy."
"Hello there" the head teacher appeared with an eerie smile.
Hinata stiffened.
"Are you three in the earth group?" he continued.
"Oh yeah, we are, we're heading back to our base" Ravi replied confidently.
"Lovely, please, tell me what lesson you're doing today?" He placed his arms behind his back.
"We are learning how to make our weaknesses less noticeable sir." Ravi continued.
"Engaging, it's quite a hard thing to do, everyone has weaknesses" his eyes locked on me. "Have you two encountered anything… strange?"
Something felt off with this conversation. My stomach is twisting and turning, is this guy that scary?
"No, we were fighting some water users," I said finally.
"Magnificent! But why's your body so weak?" he moved closer.
"I used too much of my strength" I lied slipped out of my tongue. For some odd reason, I couldn't tell him someone paralysed me
" perhaps, i should give the water site a visit" he backed away a little. "I hope you three win, I'm rooting for both groups." His quiet footsteps slid out of the cave.
"Odd," Ravi said. "Felt like I was interrogated."
Hinata chuckled. "The head has always been eerie, don't worry."
HEAD POV-
He told me to come here but for what? What does he want me to find?
The wind blew a bit too familiar around me. He's here.
I heard faint giggles around me, a gush of wind and a voice, his voice.
"Good job, we are getting closer and closer." the voice spoke.
"Are we? What are we going to do after finding the truth?" I replied, my face expressionless.
"We will-" the voice started.
"Head! Nice to see you again" a student waved.
I waved back, my concentration being on the plan.
"Then we'll show them who's in power" the voice laughed before disappearing.
"What are you saying?, I'm in power" I smirked in satisfaction.
