Chapter 1 - The Day We Crossed Paths

It was a sunny friday morning for our graduation picture. I gathered enough courage to confess my love for Kai. From elementary to our high school journey I've always been head over heels for him.

He's so sweet, always remembers my birthday, takes care of me when i got sick, protects me from danger and saves me when I'm in trouble.

I always thought he had feelings for me, so i won't let this opportunity slide and confess to him before we part ways.

As i was flying my way to school i almost crashed into a burning pegasus with his master in it.

A boy in a school uniform with dark robe stopped by.

"Watch where you're going shortie"

He left the sky with his friends laughing at the back.

I immediately thought he was just one of those delinquents at school who drives around without a license.

Without wasting any more time i flew hurriedly to school.

I searched the hallway to find Kai, spotting him at his locker.

"Kai-"

Before i could say a word, Luna stepped out of nowhere and hugged him tightly.

"Camila, you're here just in time for the picture" Luna smiled at me while wrapping her hands at his arm.

I immediately froze processing the situation.

"Camila i almost forgot to tell you, Luna and i are in a relationship" Kai happily introduced her.

"Oh... I see you guys make such a lovely couple" I tried to smile while crumbling the letter i wrote for him behind me.

"Let's go? We don't want to miss the picture right?" Luna added.

"Wait, Camila are you okay? is there something you wanted to tell me earlier?" Kai asked, both of them looking at me waiting for an answer.

"N-no, no, i was just just passing by and wanted to say hi. You guys go ahead I'll catch up later" I nervously reassured them and rushed to the bathroom.

"Are you sure-?" Luna paused as i ran away.

What was that all about? Kai and Luna together? Since when? How come i didn't know this? As my mind was mixed up with different emotions i ran into the same guy again. This time i stepped into his shoe.

"AH! Sorry, I didn't mean it!" I bowed my head repeatedly apologizing to him.

"It's you again, didn't i told you to watch where you're going?" This arrogant boy pushed me in the corner and continued walking in his direction.

I heard his voice and reminded me of the same guy this morning.

"Wow rude!" I pointed out my middle finger at him out of annyonance without him noticing.

Just how worse can this day get?

I went to the bathroom to sort out my thoughts washing my hands at the sink as i reflected to myself. If Kai is happy with her then i should probably step out for his happiness.

It's probably better if he didn't know. Things will just get more complicated and i don't want to ruin my friendship with Luna.

I let out a small breath before walking outside.

"There you are!" Kai grabbed my hand and pulled me closer.

"The class photo is almost starting, you're the only one missing" He fixed my hair and cleaned my face.

There he is again, with his gentle voice and caring gestures. I couldn't stand it anymore.

"Kai what do you think of me?" I asked him.

"What do you mean?" Kai looked at me confused.

"I mean... What am i to you? What do i mean to you? I want to know what you think of me" I asked.

"What do i think of you? Hmm, you're like a little sister to me" He pinched my cheeks and smiled.

I couldn't help but felt crushed inside. All those years he treated me was just a friendly gesture? A sister? Someone to take care of?

"You fool" I smiled back while tears are slowly slipping from my eyes.

"Why are you crying?" Kai worriedly touched my face.

"I'm just happy that you called me your little sister" I tried to hide the pain from his words and pretended to smile.

"Let's go, the others must be waiting for us". We walked together in the courtyard.

"Everyone is complete... Position yourselves in 3...2...1... Smile!"

3 Months Later...

Levi's POV:

Ahh what a sh!tty day...

"Levi! Get your @ss down here! The driver is waiting!" –Levi's Mom

I walked down the stairs with my pajamas and messy hair to see my mother.

"You-" Without finishing her words she pinched my ears dragging me in the sofa.

"You're hopeless! It's 7:30 am and you're not dressed yet?! Look at you! Is that the face of an heir who's going to run the kingdom?!" My mother yelled at me with her morning lecture again.

She snaps her fingers at her power "You're walking to school today, your father and i have business meeting with the Northern Kingdom, so fix yourself up. Also, You're not allowed to drive our horses this year as a punishment for killing them in constant accidents! Do you understand young man?!"

"Yeah yeah..." I lazily spoke.

Mother and father left that day and i was left in the kingdom for a month until they get back from their business trip.

Swoosh... A letter flew through my window

"Dude where are you? Your sh!tty girlfriend here has been bothering us nonstop asking us when will you get here" –Max

"She's not my girlfriend! The creep is just an obsessed stalker, throw her away" I replied vanishing the letter to Max.

"Come on man, if you're not gonna show up we'll tell her your room code" Max teasingly threatened me.

"Fine I'll go..." Burns the letter.

A few moments later i finished taking a shower and sprayed a perfume of my creation, dressed myself up and went outside.

I opened my book for witchcraft to recite a teleportation spell only to find out that my mother ripped off the pages.. Seriously?

I looked at my book in disbelief. Even worse, realizing that there's no transportation around our kingdom as my mother locked it with her spells.

Then does this mean I'll fcking walk?!

3 hours later...

At last, i finally reached school after a few hours of walking. I was 3 hours late. When i arrived it was already snack time for everyone.

I noticed my friends calling out for me at the table. By the time i was at the cafeteria i was already sweating from exhaustion.

As i took another step this clumsy girl accidentally fell down the stairs. Her cake full of icing smashed through my face at the hallway. I took a step back turning away from her direction letting her fall on the ground. Not that i care of.

It's her again. That annoying face of hers. Why do i keep seeing her?!

Everyone went silent as they witnessed this scene.

Gossips and murmurs everywhere.

Everyone already knew.

Anyone who crosses me would only mean meeting their hell.

But the first time she laid her eyes on me. I couldn't help but look at her in awe.

That was the day... I met Camila...
