Soo Jin just nodded with a look of thought before he walked to his room door.
He did not bother knocking as he pushed the door open and entered, closing it behind him.
The room was dim, illuminated only by the small glow from a laptop and a desk lamp. Min Jae was seated at his desk, headphones resting around his neck, reading a thick hardcover book.
The room was clean, showing two personalities obsessed with cleanliness.
Min Jae did not look up. He made sure to finish reading the line he was on, then slowly turned his chair, his expression calm. "You're back," he stated, obviously not a question.
"Mm," Soo Jin nodded, dropping his bag on the rack. He walked straight to the bathroom.
"The cafeteria closed early today," Min Jae said, his voice low and calm like water.
"I'm not hungry," Soo Jin replied.
"There is bread in the drawer if you change your mind." Min Jae turned back to his book, not adding anything extra.
