"Empty your pockets, give me all your money!" The masked man commanded while holding Aeros at knife point.Aeros put his hands up then :Boost: he shot trying to punch the man in the stomach but underestimated his strength and punched straight through the man.
They let out a disgusting sound then went into shock.
"Holy shit!"Aeros yelled while pulling his arm out of the man.
"I…I thought you were stronger." Aeros muttered not thinking straight from the rush of chemicals to his brain.
The Masked man squirmed on the ground before letting the air out of his lungs. Aeros looked at the man dead on the ground for a few seconds before pulling his phone out and calling the authorities. He sat next to the man, his arm covered in blood and blood pooling everywhere.
After about 10 minutes the cops arrived taking Aeros in temporary custody after about 20 minutes his went off with a text from liz "Hey is everything alright where are you" Aeros looked at the phone screen for a little while before texting back "yeah somebody tried to rob me im at the police station im fine but im little shaken up can we meet up when everything's taken care of".
"Yeah of course I'm glad you're okay" Aeros put his phone away and stared at the wall.
After a few more minutes an officer walked in "Alright your story checks out your free to go." Aeros gets up and walks out the police station Texting Liz to meet him at his apartment and showers but his arm still feels dirty After about 10 minutes their is a knock at his door.Its Liz he opens it and she hugs him "Are you alright what happened?" Aeros takes a second then sits down on his couch then responds"I was on my way to meet you at Big Burger when this guy dragged me into an alley and held me at knife point and tried to rob me well i used boost and punched him but he was weaker than I thought and I …killed him." Aeros says.
Liz hugs him, responding"It's okay you only did what you had to do."
Aeros and Liz sit there embracing for a while, then speak throughout the night before saying goodbye and Liz goes home.
Aeros looks in the mirror and thinks to himself"I…I don't feel bad for killing that man even worse i feel good i felt myself grow stronger when he took his last breath and he deserved it this world is kill or be killed he deserved to die for being weak and i could of died if I didnt kill him."
Aeros stares at himself in the mirror for a while before going to bed.
Aeros wakes up and gets ready for school heading out, all his classes were just the same stuff as yesterday then lunch time arrives and he spots his friends going and sitting down next to Liz his friends greet him and then Liz whispers to him "you alright?" Aeros whispers back "yeah im fine."they hold a moment of tension before being interrupted by the dark haired man "hey Aeros you find any good hunting spots last night?"
Aeros"Responds no i was busy last night didnt get the chance." the dark haired man looks over at the blond man"Will what about you?" Will looks up from his burger "oh yeah i found this goblin village i got a whole bunch of crystals and got some good levels." The dark haired man smirks"Oh really looks like you need to take us out to eat right guys?"They chuckle and keep talking after school Aeros goes to the hunting grounds.
After a few minutes of walking he comes across a pair of orcs.
Aeros begins to gather mana across his body then :Boost: he launches behind one of the orcs hitting it with a devastating slash across its back before turning to the next orc quickly using :Mana Engine: to restore his stamina he swings his greatsword landing a good blow on the second orc before making some distance before they have a chance to counter attack,the second orc enraged charges swinging his axe at Aeros who side steps it and Quickly counters And with a precise blow Cleaves throw the orcs neck beheading it,it collapses and dissipates the first orc regains its the composure and rushes at Aeros chopping into his chest Aeros winces before :Boost: he makes a great movement backwards and :Heal: heals a good amount of the damage and stops the bleeding then there is a staredown between Aeros and the orc both hesitating to make the first move then :Boost: Aeros flashes across the field cleaving through the orc but not coming out unscaved as the orc also land a blow on Aeros's Shoulder before Dissipating Aeros then exhausted collapses to the ground slowly using :Mana Engine: and :Heal: to Heal himself and restore his stamina once he was done and gained back his mana he gathered the crystals and begin heading back when he saw a blue portal after thinking for a moment he steels his resolve and enters it.
