Chapter 134 - Chapter 134: Impossible Gap

"What terrifying neural reflex speed…"

Minato didn't speak. He could only stare at Garp with his mouth agape, his face full of astonishment.

That previous attack had only been a probe, he hadn't gone all out.

But had Garp taken it seriously either?

"No wonder A and the Third Raikage, those Cloud ninja with such incredible speed, lost so miserably!

So it wasn't that they failed to use their speed advantage, it's that, in terms of speed, they had no advantage at all."

Minato finally understood why A and the Third Raikage, whose speed was second only to his own, had appeared so helpless in their battles against Garp.

With speed like theirs, they should have dominated the fight.

Even if they couldn't win, they should at least have been able to retreat.

And yet, whether it was A or the Third Raikage, when facing Garp, their once proud speed seemed to have no outlet at all.

He had felt doubtful before.

But after that probing attack, he finally understood.

It wasn't that A and the Third Raikage failed to fully utilize their speed, it was that Garp was simply too fast.

So fast that the speed of A and the Third Raikage became completely meaningless.

"What are you waiting for? Yellow Flash, hesitation will lead to defeat."

Garp slowly lifted one eyelid, glanced at Minato, then closed it again.

"Lord Garp, next I'll be going all out."

Minato took a deep breath, suppressing the chaotic thoughts in his mind. Then he flicked both hands,

Ten Flying Thunder God kunai shot toward Garp from different angles.

"Which one will he teleport to?"

"Minato's kunai throwing isn't inferior to most Uchiha."

"Were all their trajectories calculated with precision?"

Everyone present widened their eyes, staring unblinkingly at each Flying Thunder God kunai.

Including Tsunade and Kushina, who were still stepping on Garp's back without the slightest restraint.

They all knew that Minato would definitely choose one of those kunai as his teleportation coordinate.

Although there weren't many kunai, they weren't few either, especially given the extremely tricky angles Minato used.

While he hadn't reached the level of someone like Itachi, who seemed to be using a Mangekyo Sharingan just to throw kunai, this was already the absolute limit achievable by someone without a dojutsu bloodline.

Almost all of the kunai, after leaving his hand, became blind spots from Garp's perspective.

Unless one possessed the Byakugan's vision with no blind spots, a normal person's eyes could at best track one or two Flying Thunder God kunai.

The other eight would inevitably enter the visual blind zone, making them impossible to see.

Under such circumstances, combined with Minato's unrivaled speed, even someone with the Byakugan would be dazzled and overwhelmed, let alone someone without it.

Yet in the face of the ten Flying Thunder God kunai tearing through the air toward him, Garp once again didn't raise his head, didn't even open his eyes, simply allowing the kunai to fly at him.

Only when some of the kunai were about to graze past him and others aimed to pierce different parts of his body did he finally flick his finger in midair.

Centered on his fingertip, the air rippled like a lake struck by a stone, instantly spreading visible waves.

The kunai that were about to strike him were all repelled, as if pushed away by an invisible force.

"Flying Thunder God Slash!"

From the moment he threw the kunai, Minato hadn't moved an inch.

But at the instant the kunai were repelled, although he was still standing where he was, another golden flash appeared out of thin air beside Garp.

Holding a kunai, Minato stabbed fiercely toward Garp's shoulder like a laser tearing through space itself.

Sparks exploded.

Minato froze.

He stood there beside Garp, eyes wide and unfocused, staring blankly at the single finger in front of him,

A single finger that was pressed against the tip of his kunai, forcibly stopping him, the kunai, and the momentum of the Flying Thunder God Slash altogether.

"The Flying Thunder God Slash… was broken!"

"The Second Hokage's Flying Thunder God Slash actually failed?"

"Just one finger?"

After seeing the battlefield clearly, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and the others all stared in disbelief.

Especially Jiraiya, who sucked in a sharp breath on the spot.

He had personally read records of Garp pinching the Flying Thunder God Slash between two fingers, a feat terrifying enough on its own.

But that had been during a serious battle.

And now?

Garp was lying on a chair, his eyes closed!

That alone was outrageous enough!

Last time, when facing Tobirama's Flying Thunder God Slash, Garp had used two fingers to catch it.

But this time?

One single finger, firmly braced against the tip of the Flying Thunder God kunai, forcibly holding Minato in place.

This wasn't just beyond what humans could do,

It was beyond what humans could even comprehend.

"If that's the case… Doesn't that mean that today's Garp is even stronger than the peak Garp we once knew?"

That thought surfaced in Jiraiya's mind, sending a chill down his spine.
