Chapter 65 - Chapter 64: The Other Sister

Allgemein pushed more and more, overpowering Raiden's dragon aura. He was going to shoot Raiden clean out the sky and destroy him for good, ending the young Otizawa.

However something had appeared in between the two.

The woman didn't stand but instead sat criss cross between Raiden and Allgemein. Floating in the air. Allgemein looked dumbfounded.

Another enemy?

Why were her energy levels so high?

Who was she?

He grit his teeth in anger as the woman flipped upside down in the air, still floating unlike the two using the propulsion from their mana to attack. She smiled and gave Raiden a look. That same one he got in the sweets shop.

"Yo. Long time no see cousin. Sorry for my absence recently. I've been doing some things for my job."

Her power slammed in between the attacks pushing Allgemein back toward the ground. The force was so powerful he dug his heels in the ground to catch his balance.

He scoffed at this.

Currently, if he were to keep fighting it would be a four on on battlex The chances he made it out unscathed were now was slim at best.

Especially with that girl.

Raiden's aura dissipated instantly, his eyes developed bags and his his pupils had gone dead from the usage of so much mana. His sword hanging low as he looked at Anilius, his eyes widened at his realization of who he was staring at in that moment. His view was blurry but he knew exactly who it was.

"A-Anilius?!"

He floated and suddenly fell downwards from exhaustion, his body healing up quickly with the fall until he smacked onto the ground. His body giving in to the sudden Mana loss it had endured and put itself through. He struggled to look up at Anilius, his shirt ripped up and his arms strained from the recent attacks he had committed against Allgemein, he panted heavily and watched her, almost as his savior in that moment.

Anilius floated to the ground. She didn't have to deal with gravity like her cousin did because of her abilities. She stood beside him, slinging him over her and helping him to his feet.

Allgemein looked on silently for a few seconds. There was no way he could take on Anilius with everyone else in his current state.

"This fight is over. You may have the girl..and I'll take my exit. Do we have a deal?"

Raiden wrapped his left arm around Anilius' shoulder and looked at Allgemein. His blade still remained in his right hand as he prepared to attack once again but he was not in the seat for negotiations nor any more damage at this time. His life was at stake. If he couldn't pull of something major Allgemein would probably kill him in one blow. His hair remained floating from the recent attack.

His eyes still faintly determined to kill the man infront of him. He grit his teeth, he was about to let out at the man but was stopped by Anilius.

"We have a deal."

Allgemein's spear dissipated as his eyes darted toward Raiden.

"The day will come where we will meet again in combat..and it will end in one of our deaths. Until then you best be refining your technique. I'll be waiting Dragon Warrior."

Allgemein took his leave, keeping his word and leaving the group alone, Cynil officially returning back to her friends and family.

Raiden turned to his friends that remained and fell unconscious from the toll that was taken on his body, fading into a dream like state for the remainder of the time spent in the plains. Alexandria remained unconscious along with the others that had been dealt the damage by the attacks of Allgemein.

Yuki and Tengoku lay unconscious next to each other as the battle had come to an end. The two close to death after their rescue mission.

Kasaru was closer to the rubble due to taking the brunt of the battle with Allgemein, suffering from the worst injuries. His clothes were practically barely hanging on in his current state and he was wheezing. Gasping for air. Some of his body was healing... slowly, the wounds seemed to be darkened and sewing back up.

From behind the ruined pillars a figure stepped out, cigarette already lit in his mouth as he slowly walked towards the unconscious Kasaru, he looked at the wounds on the boy, and the way they were regenerating. For what seemed like a second his face showed a shock, he took a moment before sighing, throwing Kasaru over his shoulder and patting his back.

"You're probably not my brat, but you showed you're not selfish or self-serving enough to be a regular Yatagarasu offspring."

He looked over at the two, sharing a blank expression before he stepped behind the pillar, vanishing with Kasaru. Anilius had saved the lives of these children today, but another day would be a different story.
