Chapter 63 - Chapter 62: Beast vs. Man

"NO! I can't leave you to fight this man by yourself!"

Yuki's eyes were enraged. They glowed a bright red and in an instant, she had vanished. She had hid her nature from Tengoku. She had wanted to be his friend. She had wanted to love him. However, with him possibly dead, and the dire situation she had no choice.

Like a flip of the light switch, she became her true self.

She fired off multiple shots while moving a speeds unbeknownst to the common person.

Due to the eyes Zenin of the Zenin, the behavior of her mana became something entirely different. The shots from her pistols fired off black lightning bolts now as they found her affinity. She could feel her veins tightening. She could feel her body coursing with energy. The energy of the Gods. It was rich. It was a high unknown to such a young girl as herself. Her conscious brain was no longer in control.

Allgemein's skin felt the rubble of the wall come down on him. He looked back up at the beast before quickly moving, dodging Yuki's attacks. They were quick but they were no match for him. Not for another God.

The best strategy in this situation was to create distance between the two, not only so they could not use each other to their advantage but because he would avoid two simultaneous attacks at the same time.

The slam was impressive, and the beast had a peculiar look to it, but it would take far more than this to stop him.

He moved straight for Yuki first, his hand reached out to her as if she were simply another obstacle the man was meant to eradicate. He knew this feeling well, he knew the weight of battle, especially one with a handicap.

Kasaru clamped his large talon foot around the mans arm the moment he raised it, slamming him down against the floor. The beast roared loudly and shot feathers down at Allegemein, cutting and piercing his flesh. It was clear despite this beasts monstrous mana reserves, doing anything would burn through its mana rapidly. It let go of him and kicked him away against a wall, charging at him and jumping, aiming to land on top of him and crush him.

The man rolled out the way being stopped in his path to Yuki. Golden mana flowed around as his cuts from the feathers. His skin started to close back. His blood collided with the floor. He stood up tall and stared the beast down. It made sense. He would have to tire the beast out and send it into physical exhaustion in order to get ahold of Yuki. He could sense his mana dropping rapidly. The man ripped off his robe revealing his bare chest, as he prepared to face the beast head on

It roared and stomped at him, sending him flying back as its body began to flow blood freely, it spread its colossal wings out as a barrage of feather bullets fired at him again. The projectiles were tipped in Kasarus blood and vessel. A sight to behold. He was attempting to cut the man and get in his bloodstream, and collapse his veins from the inside.

A golden barrier deflected the feather bullets as they bounced all over the room sticking into the wall. The mans mana grew larger and larger in power, keeping the bullets at bay, keeping his vessel unscathed. Allgemein began to walk forward, the mana barrier keeping him from any harm.

He gazed upon the beast once more, keeping his composure and speaking in the same manner as he did before. Calm and Collected. Unfazed. He had already admitted to himself that slipping up could cause his immediate death. The creature itself was unpredictable and sporadic in nature. He had no room for error. No room for mistakes.

No room for death.

His mana shined like the sun, sunlight bouncing off of the walls and toward the beasts face, beams of light shining directly into its violent and inhumane eyes.

By now Kasaru was running out of mana, the form began to lose its feathers as the beast grunted, stopping its barrage. In its feral state it understood it was nearly out of mana. It did the only thing it could think of and suddenly covered its eyes and opened its massive beak, grabbing the shielded Allgemein in his bubble of mana and spinning around with it, before launching it up into roof with hope it'd shatter through and send him flying. Sure, it wasn't going to do much but it was still going to buy time to get out of there.

With that last attack, the beasts form crumbled like a porcelain doll, turning to stone and then to Ash as Kasarus unconscious body fell to the floor.

Any remnant of that form gone.

Yuki readied her railgun firing off multiple shots from the gun, sending them straight towards the man with intense force with each shot, zipping left and right as her mana was slowly drained from her body. She wanted to follow Kasaru's attack in hopes of causing serious damage or getting rid of the threat entirely.

Allgemein looked at the beast fall as he hit the ceiling. He contorted his body in the air and gracefully landed on the ground dodging Yuki's blasts.

"All that for some bruises on my body? It will take a warrior to shed the blood of man. A beast has no concept of such thing."

He looked toward Yuki, her being the only one left.

"And so. Finally the frost sisters meet their end. You are the final warrior…and you may put up a fight. I give you permission."

There was a small pause.

"However, I do not give you permission to scream from the pain."

Allgemein's aura grew as it started to form a lion made out of mana. One that covered his physique and figure as he walked toward Yuki, the floor breaking with each step toward her.

Yuki panted heavily, the scarf that Tengoku gave her glowed with the aura's direction, she dashed left and right, the black lightning bolts began ringing out to the ground to create a static shock attack that would cover the ground

"D-DAMN IT"

Yuki dashed backwards trying to keep distance between her and this man, she continued firing shots at the ground and ceiling, making the shots remain animated in the air as they slowly started connecting, almost like she was trying to trap him.

Allegemein made one fatal mistake, not noting the location of Kasarus body once he'd fallen, once Yuki had forced him back, he suddenly felt his leg get gripped onto.

"Fuck you... you... asshole...!"

Kasaru forced his feathers out his hand, piercing Allgemeins flesh and directly linking his blood to his, he squeezed tightly with the intent to collapse at least some of his veins with what little power he had left.

Allgemein stopped his movements as he was impaled. He grabbed Kasaru by the back of his hair, enduring any of the pain that Kasaru caused. He kneeled down as he let Yuki move freely, looking at Kasaru.

"Sometimes you must understand your position peasant beast."

Despite Kasaru collapsing the veins in his legs he was an absolute unit, and it would take Kasaru's full strength to cause a large amount of damage at this point. He cocked Kasaru's head back and slammed his face into the ground, creating a crater as the mana infused with his strength, his veins popping slightly because of it.

Blood splattered out his mouth as he was slammed down, with his last amount of strength he gripped Allgemeins wrist and forced the veins in his dominant hand to collapse! He lost consciousness at that point, being unable to stay awake any longer.

Allgemein looked on silently at his hand. He was unable to use it, attempting to close and open it but to no avail he couldn't. He rammed his foot into the back of Kasaru's head before kicking his body to the side.

"Internal attacks…I can't even move my hand or feel anything in it anymore..it's useless to me..tch.."

He kissed his teeth before turning to Yuki.

Yuki's electrical blasts would finally connect and bring down a rain of the black lightning bolts, however they weren't normal bolts of lightning with a different hue, they were of sub zero temperatures, causing a freezing and slowing affect.

"Yes..that's it…Use the power of the Ice Queen.."

Allgemein cracked a smile and prepared an attack of his own to counter the spell Yuki cast. Allgemein knew this magic well, stemming ancient Zenin history.

That and the fact that he knew about Yuki's mother as the primordial one.

That magic was no match for his skill, not unless it was of a king or queens magic. Even then, he was no ordinary creature.

His hand glowed with the night sky that shined from the beasts rampage. He was attacked by a beast of the shadows. One of darkness. Today, he would show Yuki the golden beast that pillaged this land. An ancient being that matched the age of the original zenin. The blade melted in his hands. His strength multiplying by the second. The name of Godinscribed on that sword.

But what did it matter? What human knew God? What human could tell you God's name? Not one. Not a human on this earth had ever had a true conversation with him.

He swung his blade for the attack, yellow electricity following until it clashed with Yuki's attack, creating a cataclysm in space itself, completely ripping the room apart.

The ceiling and the ground blasted off clean as it revealed a crater in the earth.

A large explosion eclipsed the area destroying the entire left side of the base Allgemein operated out of. There was no such need anymore for such a silly structure. He wanted his throne back in the largest kingdom your tiny mind could ever dream of.

He prepared his mana to directly defend the power of the blast, and minimize as much damage as possible. He combined that strategy with the nature of the sword he held in his hands. His true name: Methuselah, the son of Enoch.
