Chapter 62: Teaching Vegeta a Lesson

While Nappa still reveled in his newfound strength, Vegeta's patience ran out. He strode forward and shoved Nappa aside.

Lost in experiencing his power, Nappa instinctively started to resist. But seeing it was Vegeta, years of ingrained habit made him flinch.

The next second, however, Nappa straightened his neck, glaring at Vegeta with fierce eyes and a savage grin. "Vegeta, I'm stronger than you now. I'm not afraid of you anymore! I served you for so long, and you tried to kill me! Go ahead and try it now!"

Everyone except Bulma stared at Nappa in shock. Turles slapped his palm against his forehead.

Naturally, hearing Nappa dare to challenge him made Vegeta explode with rage. He spoke through gritted teeth, each word deliberate. "Nappa, it seems you truly have a death wish. This time even Turles won't save you. I guarantee it!"

Hearing Vegeta's words, Nappa's heart jumped. He turned to gauge the others' reactions, and his panic grew. He quickly wiped the savage expression from his face and forced an awkward smile. "Vegeta, what if I said I was just joking? Would you believe me?"

"What do you think?" Vegeta's cold voice offered no mercy.

The smile Nappa had struggled to produce faded. He looked at Vegeta with shifting emotions, as if weighing his options.

"Enough, Vegeta. Don't you want your potential unlocked quickly? Hurry up. As for Nappa—you can discipline him after your upgrade."

Turles had no desire to waste more time and urged Vegeta forward.

"Hmph!" Vegeta snorted coldly, shot Nappa one more vicious glare, then temporarily let it go.

Vegeta stepped before the Grand Elder and awkwardly lowered his head slightly.

The Grand Elder acted as though he'd witnessed no conflict, merely smiling as he extended his hand to rest atop Vegeta's head.

The same process began, though this time the Grand Elder seemed to struggle more. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

Vegeta couldn't focus on anything else. With his ability to sense energy, he understood exactly what was happening to him.

A gentle yet powerful force surged into his body. His cells responded like they'd been stimulated, power continuously welling up from within. Despite his efforts to suppress it, his aura kept boiling over.

"AHHH!"

Vegeta finally couldn't resist his body's instinct. He roared, his aura erupting completely and kicking up violent winds.

Turles's expression changed dramatically. He flashed forward, appearing before the Grand Elder in an instant. A protective barrier of light formed around him, shielding the Grand Elder before Deru could even react.

Seeing the Grand Elder was safe, Deru breathed a sigh of relief before glaring at Vegeta with resentment.

Raditz's face had also paled, but he stood firm in front of Bulma, using his body to shield her from Vegeta's overwhelming pressure.

"Turles! Today I'm going to show you—I'll make you understand that I, Vegeta, am the strongest Saiyan!"

Vegeta's arrogant voice rang in everyone's ears, his eyes challenging Turles directly.

Turles's gaze turned completely cold, his voice eerily calm as if echoing from the depths of the underworld. "Vegeta, it seems I've been too lenient with you. Today I'll help you regain some clarity."

Turles looked up at the ceiling. His eyes narrowed, and with a tremendous crash, a massive hole opened in the roof. Then he looked at Vegeta and slowly began rising into the air.

Vegeta suppressed his arrogance, his expression growing grave as he stared at Turles. Pushing down his unease, he too began ascending.

Turles glanced at the ground below. Satisfied they'd gained enough distance, he stopped, hovering steadily in the air.

The next moment, Vegeta rose to the same height. The two floated opposite each other, neither speaking.

Just like before, Vegeta still couldn't sense even a trace of Turles's aura. Though he knew Turles used ki to fly, he simply couldn't detect it. Remembering the Grand Elder's words about divine aura, Vegeta's heart sank.

Suddenly, Vegeta moved—his body charging toward Turles at high speed.

He had no choice but to strike first. If he delayed any longer, he feared he'd lose his chance entirely.

Vegeta's speed was impressive. After the Grand Elder's potential unlock, his battle power had reached 150,000. This was purely from his natural talent—if he'd undergone gravity training like Turles, the increase would have been even greater.

Turles showed no concern for Vegeta's charge. Even as Vegeta closed to striking range, Turles made no move.

Since he'd decided to teach Vegeta a lesson, Turles would defeat him at his most confident. He activated his strongest technique—Pseudo-Ultra Instinct.

Seeing Turles remain motionless, Vegeta's lips curled into a smile. He seemed to have overestimated Turles. With his current battle power of 150,000, at this close range, Turles still hadn't reacted.

Just as Vegeta's fist was about to connect, Turles finally moved. His body shifted almost imperceptibly, and Vegeta's attack passed through what seemed like an afterimage, striking nothing.

"Impossible!"

Vegeta stopped and spun around, staring in disbelief at Turles, who remained floating calmly. His eyes filled with denial.

"AHHHH!"

Refusing to accept it, Vegeta roared and launched another assault.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Vegeta's fists created sonic booms as they cut through the air, but each attack was effortlessly evaded. He couldn't even graze a corner of Turles's clothing.

Turles moved as though taking a leisurely stroll through Vegeta's storm of strikes. Each attack passed mere inches from his body, yet he needed only the slightest adjustment to dodge them all.

Vegeta was breaking down. He could see every movement Turles made, yet he couldn't land a single hit. It only fueled his rage.

"Turles, don't underestimate me!"

Unable to break through, Vegeta retreated, creating distance between them. He shouted and activated his signature strategy—the Prince's Fighting Method.

Vegeta's hands rapidly formed energy spheres, firing them at Turles in a continuous barrage.

The sky filled with energy blasts. Vegeta refused to believe Turles could dodge them all.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions rang out continuously. Smoke quickly filled the high altitude, completely obscuring Turles's figure.

"Vegeta's going to lose."

Raditz suddenly spoke, drawing everyone's attention away from the battle above.

"Why?" Bulma asked curiously, still looking up.
