Chapter 59: The Grand Elder's Prophecy

Watching this Namekian who'd suddenly blocked his path, Turles felt somewhat speechless.

He'd already recognized the person's identity—precisely the combat-type Namekian who'd always protected the Grand Elder: Nail.

Regarding Nail's wariness toward him, Turles felt no surprise whatsoever. He'd encountered this situation many times before. Including when visiting Deru's Elder, Turles initially hadn't received warm welcomes either. No helping it—Saiyans' reputation was simply too terrible.

However, Turles not caring didn't mean Vegeta didn't care. As the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta maintained his characteristic pride. Moreover, his temper wasn't particularly good.

"Hmph!"

Vegeta issued a cold snort, releasing his aura suppression. Over 30,000 battle power instantly exploded, directly stirring gale-force winds.

Vegeta's sudden power burst made Nail even more vigilant. Not to be outdone, he similarly erupted with aura matching Vegeta's.

Both fighters' battle power was comparable. Two powerful auras colliding directly made Bulma—an ordinary person—turn pale-faced. Seeing this, Turles quickly shielded her behind himself.

"Regretting it now? Galactic Center has many people stronger than these two," Turles deliberately frightened her.

"No... not regretting!" Protected by Turles, Bulma felt much better. She immediately replied stubbornly, afraid Turles would send her back to Earth.

Turles rolled his eyes without speaking further.

Six years remained before Frieza's canonical Namek invasion in the original story. So currently, Nail's battle power hadn't yet reached the 42,000 from his original debut. But he'd already broken through 30,000. So regarding Vegeta, he showed no fear whatsoever.

However, this also demonstrated Nail was truly a genius. In merely six years—under Namek's peaceful environment—he could increase battle power over 10,000. His talent was evident.

Seeing both about to stage a major battle, Turles unusually didn't step forward to stop them. After all, he also had a temper. Being misunderstood so many times left him somewhat displeased internally.

Moreover, both fighters' battle power differed minimally. Even if combat occurred, casualties wouldn't result. So Turles was quite willing to watch a performance.

However, Turles's thoughts were destined for disappointment. Just as both were about to strike, not only did Deru immediately jump out to restrain Nail, but an aged voice also emerged from the house behind Nail:

"Sigh, Nail, stop. They aren't enemies—they're friends of Namekians!"

Nail—who'd been quite surprised by this unfamiliar clansman—immediately restrained his aura after hearing the Grand Elder's words. Respectfully, he answered toward the rear house: "Yes, Grand Elder!"

Hearing the Grand Elder's voice, Deru's body trembled. Excitedly looking behind Nail, he asked with trembling voice: "Inside... is... the Grand Elder?"

"Hm?"

Nail was quite familiar with current Namekian clansmen on the planet. He could confirm he'd never seen this clansman before. Moreover, Deru's aura wasn't weak. If on Namek, he couldn't possibly not know him.

Nail suddenly thought of a possibility. His consistently stern seriousness completely vanished. A trace of excitement flashed in his eyes. He confirmed with Deru: "You are..."

"A distant clansman. Welcome home!"

At this moment, the Grand Elder's words directly confirmed Nail's speculation. He could no longer care about vigilance toward these suddenly appearing Saiyans. Directly pulling Deru, he walked toward the rear house.

Seeing the show was over, Turles shrugged, following both inside.

After walking two steps, Turles suddenly felt something wrong. Looking back, he discovered Vegeta still standing in place—slightly tilting his head upward with disdainful expression while glancing sideways at Turles.

Turles's eyes shifted. He conceived an idea. While slowing his pace, he somewhat carelessly muttered to himself: "I've heard Namek's Grand Elder possesses special abilities to unlock personal potential. Wonder if the Grand Elder can help unlock mine and Raditz's potential this time?"

Hearing this, Vegeta's expression slightly changed. But before Vegeta could say anything, a gust of wind flashed past him. The next second, Nappa's voice rang out.

"Boss, what about me?"

Nappa's eyes looked pleadingly at Turles. Truly difficult for this burly man to make such an expression.

"Tch! Just you? Didn't you hear the Boss said it's the Boss and me!"

Seeing Nappa's actions, Raditz immediately activated mockery mode.

Fierce light flashed in Nappa's eyes. Internally resentful, he ultimately endured without exploding. Only smiled ingratiatingly at Turles.

Seeing this, Turles had grown accustomed to such scenes. Raditz possessed this bullying-the-weak-fearing-the-strong character. Now with Turles backing him, plus his own strength far exceeding Nappa's, he definitely wanted revenge.

Turles held no opinions about this. Nappa differed from Raditz. This hulking brute possessed typical Saiyan temperament. Now having Raditz discipline him on his behalf saved Turles effort.

Ignoring these two clowns, Turles's peripheral vision slightly swept past Vegeta. His lips curved before continuing forward.

After walking several steps, Turles saw this trip's objective—Namek's Grand Elder.

Compared to other Namekians, the Grand Elder's physique was far more massive. Even sitting there, he still towered much higher than Turles's group.

"Saiyan friends, welcome to Namek. I apologize for Nail's earlier rashness."

The Grand Elder appeared quite kind. Upon speaking, he immediately expressed apology toward Turles's group.

Nail felt somewhat aggrieved. Just about to speak, he saw the Grand Elder's gaze. Unwillingly, he retreated.

Turles—having requests—naturally wouldn't act arrogantly. He quickly bowed slightly: "Grand Elder, you're too kind. Deru is my friend. Naturally, Namekians are also my friends. How could friends blame friends?"

Hearing this, the Grand Elder chuckled lightly before continuing: "Long ago, I foresaw Namek would face a great calamity in the near future. Evil would descend upon Namek. Clansmen would die one after another. Finally, an Earthling and his friends would arrive on Namek, helping Namekians repel evil!"

"Grand Elder!" Hearing the Grand Elder's words, nearby Deru and Nail's expressions changed.

The Grand Elder waved, stopping both. His gaze fixed on Turles as he continued: "But several months ago, the prophecy changed. A Saiyan arrived bringing new clansmen. Meanwhile, evil's gaze turned away from Namek."

The Grand Elder's words silenced the room. Both Namekians, Deru and Nail, wanted to speak but hesitated. Nail's expression showed even more indignation.

Throughout the universe, who didn't know Saiyans were synonymous with evil? Whenever Saiyan figures appeared, they brought only death and destruction.

Yet now the Grand Elder claimed a Saiyan had saved Namek. Nail simply didn't believe it. Meanwhile, Deru looked at Turles with contemplation.

Turles's group also showed varying expressions.

Vegeta simply didn't believe in prophecies. If not for the benefits Turles had just mentioned, he wouldn't deign meeting some Namekian Grand Elder.

Meanwhile, Raditz had already witnessed Turles's miraculous abilities. He subconsciously assumed the Saiyan in the Grand Elder's prophecy was Turles. Since the Grand Elder possessed prophecy abilities, then Turles's earlier words might be true. Thinking this, Raditz looked at the Grand Elder with heated eyes.

Turles watched the Grand Elder with some shock and uncertainty. He knew the Grand Elder possessed miraculous abilities. But he hadn't expected prophecy extending to his own existence. If he hadn't guessed wrong, his transmigration had caused the prophecy's alteration.

Because he knew—in the future, it was indeed Goku with Krillin, Bulma, and Gohan who'd arrived on Namek. And it was precisely Krillin's death that had triggered Goku's Super Saiyan transformation.

Now, due to his arrival, the plot had likely already changed. Frieza might target Earth while overlooking Namek.

This change made Turles both happy and worried.

Happy because his ability to influence plot demonstrated this was a real world. Worried because this being a real world meant his future plot knowledge would diminish increasingly. For a transmigrator like himself, this advantage would grow smaller and smaller.

"Um... this... Namekian Grand Elder, you said you have prophecy abilities? Can you prophecy my future?"

Suddenly, Bulma's somewhat curious voice rang out, pulling back Turles's attention. He also directed his gaze toward the Grand Elder.
