"Hahaha… really? He did that?" Mom's voice came clearer now. She was standing just inside the doorway, still laughing softly.
"Yeah… I'm not lying." replied a familiar deep, confident voice that sent a chill down my spine.
It was Mike.
My heart skipped a beat, then started hammering wildly. My mind spun with a thousand questions all at once. What the hell was he doing here? Why was Mom laughing with him like that? Did she actually go out with Mike today? The thought made my blood run cold.
I stayed hidden behind the wall, breathing as quietly as I could, ears straining to catch every word.
"But seriously, you didn't have to come with me." I heard Mom's voice. She was talking so casually to Mike, like they were old friends.
"It's nothing..." Mike replied smoothly, his tone warm and charming.
"I couldn't let a beautiful woman like you walk home alone. What kind of man would I be?"
"That's very kind of you." Mom said with a soft, flattered laugh, clearly taking his flirting as an innocent compliment.
I couldn't resist. I quietly moved closer and took a small peek around the corner. The light near the doorway was dim and ajao it was dark outside the door, so I couldn't see them clearly, but their faint silhouettes stood out in the hallway.
Mom's voluptuous figure was impossible to miss, her wide hips and massive breasts creating that perfect hourglass shape, her body curves stood it even in the low light. Mike stood very close to her, tall and muscular, one arm casually leaning against the wall beside her head, almost caging her in. His broad shoulders made her look smaller, more delicate next to him.
A tight knot formed in my stomach as I watched them standing so close, talking so casually. Mom's soft laugh drifted toward me again, light and happy, while Mike's deep voice answered her, low and confident. The sight made my blood run cold.
"Oh my god… I'm already so late. I still have to cook dinner." Mom gasped, her voice filled with sudden panic as she checked the time on her phone.
She hurried through the front door, stepping into the dim glow of the hallway light. That was when I finally saw her clearly.
Mom was wearing her yoga outfit. The tight grey full-sleeve top and those high-waisted grey yoga pants she'd started wearing lately. The top clung to her like a second skin, stretched obscenely over her massive breasts.
Even though it covered everything, the thin fabric did nothing to hide how heavy and full they were. Her huge tits strained against the material with every hurried step, the faint outline of her bra were clearly visible.
The pants were even worse, they molded perfectly to her wide, child-bearing hips and that massive, heart-shaped ass that jiggled softly with each movement. The seam disappeared deep between her thick cheeks, accentuating every curve. Her thighs looked thick and powerful, rubbing together as she walked, the stretchy fabric highlighting the soft flesh.
She looked far too tempting for something meant for exercise.
"By the way… thank you so much for the help today, Mike." Mom said, turning back toward him at the doorway. Her voice was warm, almost shy.
"You don't have to thank me, Mrs. Alina. I'm always at your service. Just say the word and I'll come running." Mike replied in that smooth, charming tone that could fool anyone who didn't know what a scumbag he really was.
I watched from my hiding spot as Mom let out a soft, flattered laugh, one hand unconsciously brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You and your sweet talk... Now go on, it's getting late." She murmured, cheeks turning a faint pink. For a second she looked almost girlish.
Mom let out a long breath once the door was closed, then turned toward the living room. She looked tired.
I slowly backed away, trying not to make a sound, mind spinning with everything I'd just witnessed.
I quietly walked over to the couch, forcing my legs to move normally. Lily was still fast asleep, curled up cutely on her side. I sat down beside her carefully, trying to act like I hadn't just been spying on Mom and Mike.
A few moments later, Mom stepped into the living room with that familiar graceful walk. She looked… different. Happier than usual. There was a soft glow on her cheeks.
"Mom…?" I called out softly, just loud enough for her to hear without waking Lily.
She turned toward me, blinking in surprise before her face melted into that warm, motherly smile I knew so well.
"Alex… I'm so sorry, sweetie, I lost track of time. I'll cook something quickly. You and Lily must be starving." She said, her voice gentle and full of guilt.
Her eyes drifted down to the couch, softening even more when she saw Lily curled up against me.
"Is Lily already asleep?"
"Yeah, We were watching TV and she dozed off halfway through." I replied, keeping my voice steady even though my heart was hammering against my chest.
I wanted to ask why was Mike with her but the words stayed trapped in my throat.
"Just give me a little time, okay?" Mom said, already turning toward the kitchen, her steps a bit rushed.
I dragged myself back to the couch and slumped down.
To be continued...
