Entry

In a time when the world was not yet ordinary, when it was not yet calm and intertwined with peace, there were four great races with the same names as today, but more hostile. They were called, in order, the Uica, the Dorer, the Gorliway, and the Negreleem. Each had its own language, its own worship, its own characteristics, and even its own diseases.

The Gorliway lived in the polar regions at the northernmost tip of the continents. This race had three defining characteristics: harmonious, strong, and red-haired.

Their bodies had hardened and strengthened to withstand the cold, and their stature had grown. The men were stocky, while the women were plump. Their efforts, shaped by the climate, had naturally also shaped their harmony with other races. They always sought a common, proper path, representing peace and righteousness.

The Gorliway Kingdom, ruled by a monarchy and named after its race, had only one condition for its throne holder: to have red hair. Yes, some might find this absurd, but not in this universe. Because a pure-blooded Gorliway was born red-haired, and since it was a rare shade, the king's child could not ascend the throne if they were not red-haired. There was no monarchy. Even someone from the common people could be born red-haired; it was entirely up to the gods. Consequently, every red-haired individual had a right to the throne.

Although they loved all races, the Uicalis were objects of worship for them.

Their religion, Ea, placed great importance on the superiority of the Uica race. The Eanists, those deeply devoted to their religion (such as the King, Counts, or high-ranking royal officials), placed a unique emphasis on monogamy. Their sole characteristic was to engage in conversation only with the woman they loved. The only woman they could speak to, apart from their relatives, was the woman they deeply loved. If an Eanist's beloved wife passed away, he could speak to more than one woman for a certain period of time. After that, even if he did not have someone he loved, he had to remain silent towards the opposite sex.

No matter how important it was, friendship between the two genders was frowned upon. Although the prevailing beliefs strained relations between the two countries, they would still exchange gifts.

Their representative colour was purple, the colour of nobility; their animal symbol was the bear, representing their size; and the scent of their loyalty and humility was the violet.

As for the Negreleemli, their situation was somewhat ordinary compared to other races. They did not possess any specific physical characteristics; brown hair and green eyes were common among them, and this was not unusual. In fact, it could be considered ordinary. However, if there was one thing about them, it was that they were quite intelligent.

The people elected the Queen or King of the country. They had discovered electricity ahead of their time, thanks to the Lurkeral Flower that grew on their own land; it could not grow or thrive anywhere else, as if it were unique to them. Consequently, electricity was expensive in other lands, and the situation was even more dire in the steppes like Dorer.

Health, education, transport... in short, this was a race and a country that was beyond what could be called modern. Their selfishness, unwilling to share their knowledge or resources, was intense. Despite sharing a border with Gorliway and Dorer, they had only built a locomotive for Gorliway and erected great walls against Dorer.

They did not adhere to a specific religion; their neutrality had made them the centre of all faiths.

The ancient scientist Robert Baker, who resided in their lands, established prestigious schools in all countries as a testament to his intellect.

The representative colour of their creativity was blue, the animal symbolising their intellect was the falcon, and the scent of their stability was the bellflower.

The Dorer… Dorer… God had created them on the same day as chaos. Despite their inner coldness and emotionlessness, their devotion to hatred was terrifying. When left alone, they fought amongst themselves; when they felt mercy, they saw emotionality as weakness and tried to escape it, vomiting blood and becoming consumptive.

Ruled by a monarchy, all the lands of the south were under their protection. Purebred Dorians were born blond. This was rare, just as it was in Gorliway. The monarchy made things even more difficult; it had become more common for the purebred Dorian King to have blond children than in previous years. This inevitably led to there being many royal princes and princesses, until... a blond was born, right?

No race except the Gorliway disliked the Dorerli. The Dorerli, however, perceived this as a sign of strength. Though they hated everyone, one race was different to them: the Uicali.

Their hatred for them was more than a feeling; it was ingrained in their blood. Every human being with Dorer blood in their heart could not bear even a single glance from the Uicals.

The real problem was that the birth rate of most Uicals was higher in Dorer than in their own country.

Their representative colour was the shade of authority, burgundy; the animal symbolising their ferocity was the lion; the scent of their passion was the rose.

Now it was the turn of the Uicalis. Their race was not as simple as the other three. They possessed eyes that saw the golden future.

The characteristics that could seem magical to some were exalted by Gorliway, increasing Negreleem's jealousy and Dorer's blood-borne rage.

The downside was that they didn't know which part of the future they would see. The only thing they knew was that if they saw the future and told anyone about it, they would die within three days. When they told someone, their clairvoyance vanished, flowing from their eyes like yellow tears. It was strange, bizarre. If they faced mortal danger, their yellow eyes showed them salvation in the near future in exchange for half their lives.

The people rose silently, telling no one about the future. An ascent that aroused envy and anger. As they knew the future, Negreleem's intelligence and Dorer's desire to be the strongest lost all significance.

The representative colour was the shade of purity, golden yellow; the animal symbolising cunning was the snake; and finally, the scent brought by their eyes was narcissism, the narciss.

Chaos, war, a past where peace never came.

The volcano Dorer, ready to erupt, had started its first conflagration with the tortures it inflicted on the Uicals born on its own soil. Chaos ensued, guns were drawn, barrels overflowing. King Dorer was ambitious; the Uica lands would be his, whether it was called greed or everyone being his enemy. He would uproot the Uicas from where they stood.

Gorliway stood against this with his people; even though there was civil war in the kingdom at the time, he also rushed outside. He helped the Uica people as much as he could, but apparently it wasn't enough against Dorer. More accurately, let's say Dorer was secretly backed by Negreleem. Gorliway was outnumbered. The Uicalis could see the future, but they were physically weak, and Gorliway didn't have the power to compensate for that weakness.

Swords were drawn, many soldiers were lost. Dorer's dense population overwhelmed Gorliway's superior physical strength. Left helpless, Gorliway had also been defeated in the civil war he had endured. The throne of the kingdom was reserved for males; there were three red-haired males and one red-haired princess at the time. Both pure-blooded Gorliway and pure-blooded Uica, the rare, fearful princess of the world with yellow eyes and red hair.

She had secretly turned the princes against each other, had the king killed, eliminated the remaining red-haired males, and ascended the throne. To the people who wanted to oppose her, she said, "I have seen the future, our salvation lies with me!" and convinced everyone. But didn't seeing and telling the future cause tears to flow from her yellow eyes and kill her within three days? This did not happen to the fearful princess, the answer was simple; she had lied. But no one had enough information to understand this.

When the throne fell to him, the course of the war changed; everyone except his own people believed there was a man at the head of the Gorliway Kingdom.

She slipped quietly into the land of Dorer, found the young king of that time with her secretive agility, and planted the seed of love in his heart. The King of Dorer was helpless. His emotionless nature, a consequence of being a pure-blooded Dorer, had been stirred, and this stirring had been caused by the pure-blooded Uicali. It lasted about a week, the time he could endure after falling in love with her. His relentless consumption of love brought about his end.

The war stopped, fell silent. The leaders of the countries and the clergy gathered in Negreleem. The war had ended, but nothing was being born on Uica's soil, and no flowers were growing there anymore. The soil, blackened, did not green even when watered. What the late Dorer King had wanted had actually come to pass. Was Uica not being born on its own soil, but in Dorer?

Finally, a peace treaty was signed between the three. Since there were no longer any members of the Uica race, it would henceforth be referred to as an extinct race. If any ill-treatment were to be inflicted upon a Uica citizen born in Gorliway by the Dorer, the treaty would be permanently nullified; if a Uica citizen born in Dorer were to be sterilised, they would be used as a slave. The Bridge of Opposing Brothers was built between Gorliway and Dorer.

Centuries passed. Within the still peaceful countries, not far from the city of Fowich in Dorer, in the mansion of the Count of Dorer... there was a girl, a girl with half Uica blood... and her pure-blooded Dorer master.
