"Where are master Ken and Tomoya? What did you do with them?" said Kavi in a furious tone.
"Slow down there, young angry boy! At least introduce yourself before asking me for information. Didn't your parents ever teach you any manners."
"I don't have patience for your games? Where are they?"
"He's annoying! We should get this over with." said the one on the left.
"Shut up! I'll tell you what to do with him.
Now there, young boy. I might be able to help you if you can answer my question first. Did you see a strong looking man around here? He's wearing similar clothes as us but in red color. Short hair, almost gone white."
Kavi knew immediately who he was talking about.
So they are his acquaintances after all. They look strong but not as terrifying as him. No, I have no time to think. I need to find out what happened to masters. Focus…
This time, I need to push my limits. That's the only choice…
"Trinity + Five"
Kavi rushed in for the middle one. When he reached face to face with the opponent, he ducked down, formed a fist and moved his right arm back and attacked the one on his left right in the face.
His jaw broke and some teeth fell out. Kavi placed his right foot in the middle and attacked the one on the right with a rotating kick hitting his chest. At the same time he grabbed the neck of the middle one with his right hand slamming him in the ground.
"Now, how about you tell me what you did with master Ken and Tomoya."
"Ugh! You don't learn, do you? How many times do I have to…"
Kavi tightened his grip with anger and said, "I don't want to hear that! Where are the masters?"
"Naive, young boy…"
Kavi looked up, the two companions were about to hit him from both directions.
Both of them shouted, "Kyomu Arts - Death Void."
Kavi flipped to the left, barely dodging the attack. He moved back.
His jaw healed, but it's different. That thing on his chest is new. Wait, all of them have it.
Kavi was confused as he saw a sphere-like object that looked to be liquid.
That looks like blood.
"Boy! It doesn't matter how many times you attack us. You're only hurting you fellow human beings.
Do you not have sympathy for them?"
What is he talking about?
"I won't hurt you if you tell me where my masters are."
"Hahaha! Does that mean you'll let us go?"
"Yes!"
"Is that so?"
With an evil smile on his face, he said, "What if I said, I killed them?"
- Moments earlier -
"Prism - Acceleration!!!"
"You! You are just as annoying as that shadow guy."
Ryuk's two aura centres gave him an upper hand in regards to movement. He kept attacking eight's shield, pushing him further towards the end of the cliff.
"Do you realize what you've done?
Because of you I missed the birth of a miracle!!!
I'm done playing games! It's time for you to face the punishment."
Eight's oval-shaped barrier started changing. The aura liquefied, turning into a thin layer of aura that looked like smoke around his entire skin.
He's changed his defense. He has refined the barrier into pure concentrated aura. He's near the cliff end. I just need a little more time, I can almost…
Ryuk was planning on making eight fall off the cliff even if it meant he would too.
Just one more push!
He charged in, running as fast as he could. Both fists ready to attack, he moved his right arm forward.
Even though it was the fastest he ever attacked, it felt slowed down. A loud thud sound made him realize his attack was parried by eight. His right arm started to hurt, in an instant, he knew something broke.
He didn't stop. He quickly lowered his upper body, wrapping his left arm behind eight. Inside his body, the aura moved to two points. As his shoulders made contact with eight's abdominal region, he jumped forward and quietly whispered, "Phantasm - Reverse Prism"
- Same Time at Kavi's Location -
"What if I said, I killed them?"
Kavi's mind went dark. "That can't be," he thought.
It can't be true. Master Ken. Master Tomoya.
They can't be…
No way.
If that's true…
Then..
Then, it means they have to…
They have to die…
I want to… kill them.
"What if I said, I killed them. What would you…"
Before the middle guy could finish the sentence, something inside Kavi snapped. No words came out of his mouth as his vision started to blur. His mind was filled with nothing but anger. Fueled by rage, Kavi's body moved on its own.
Charging straight in, the middle guy received the first hit. A hit that broke his front neck.
Trinity + 10
Both of his fists moved at the same time hitting the guy in the right. A double hit to the chest so forceful, it broke his rib cage.
Trinity +15
At the same time, his left leg moved to the left. Followed was the right leg that rotated without a bend, hitting the guy in the left at the back of his skull, pushing his face in the dirt.
Trinity + 20
All three were immobilised in an instant but as Kavi was finished hitting the third one, his heart stopped for a moment. He threw up blood. Some of the skin on his arms tore and started bleeding. His leg started to swell and the bones started hurting.
- Ryuk's Location -
"Phantasm - Reverse Prism"
Aura burst through the two shoulder tips hitting eight point blank and knocking both of them off the cliff. They fell and hit trees on the way down. Both landed on the ground and a few seconds later one stood up.
"Annoying till the end. This has gone long enough. It's time to put an end to this nonsense."
- Kavi's Location -
Kavi was injured. One knee down he had no strength to stand up. Behind him was the one on the left, who stood up as his dirt covered face was gushing blood. Without a balance footing, he was moving his arms aggressively to hit Kavi, to no avail.
Secondly, stood the guy in the middle. He was holding his neck with both hands trying desperately to speak or cough. He slowly moved his arms in front of the chest forming a few quick hand signs. The strange liquid blood started forming and his broken neck started to return to its previous shape.
The one on the right was still on the ground trying to stand up. With some strength, he used his hands to push his body up. After failing twice, he finally stood up.
"You really should've taken my generous deal. Now, I'll have to kill you for wasting our resources." said the one in the middle.
The other two formed the same hand signs and their wounds started to heal.
"You two! On me, synchronize. Make him feel the wrath of Kyomu"
The others followed as they reached their right arms forward. Red colored aura started to flow out of their hands, forming a giant sphere directly aimed at Kavi.
Both Ryuk and Kavi laid unconscious and defenseless. The enemy were ready to kill them without hesitation. Time slowed down once again, followed by the dreadful silence of inevitable death.

A clean slash flashed in the silent darkness severing a head. At another location, an arm was severed clean as the light shined bright.
