Chapter 7 - Chapter 5: After She Left -Their Side of the Night

The suite door clicked open around 1:00 a.m. Chan stepped in, hoodie pulled up, hair slightly windswept. The energy in the room shifted immediately. Lee Know was sitting at the window, one leg tucked under him, nursing a bottle of water. Hyunjin was lying across the couch, one arm draped over his eyes but very much awake. The rest of the members were asleep or in their rooms, but these two had waited up.

No one said anything at first. Chan walked to the kitchen counter, poured himself some water, and leaned back against it with a deep exhale.

"You walked her back?" Lee Know asked, already knowing the answer.

Chan nodded. "She's in safe. Hotel's just a block from ours."

A pause.

"You get her number?" Hyunjin asked without moving his arm.

Chan glanced over. "Yeah."

Another beat of silence. The air was thick.

Lee Know broke it first, standing up and crossing his arms. "So what now?"

Chan raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean. We all felt it tonight."

Chan didn't answer right away. He looked at the floor, jaw tight, then finally said, "I don't know. I just know it wasn't fake. None of it. She made everything feel... real. And I needed that."

Hyunjin sat up slowly, dark eyes unreadable. "I kissed her," he said, tone flat.

Chan didn't flinch. "I know."

"She didn't pull away."

"I wouldn't expect her to," Chan replied calmly. "She felt something with you. She felt something with both of you."

"And with you," Lee Know added quietly.

That silence again. No one dared to challenge it.

"I've never seen her once try to impress us," Hyunjin muttered. "She just was. No screaming. No pressure. Just real."

Chan nodded, fingers tapping the rim of his glass. "That's what makes her dangerous."

Lee Know gave a quiet laugh—bitter but admiring. "She didn't even know what she was doing to us."

"No," Chan agreed. "And that's what makes me want her more."

The three of them stood there, surrounded by late-night silence and tangled thoughts. None of them had the answer. Not yet. But one thing was clear: They weren't just dealing with a fan. They were dealing with a girl who'd walked in like a passing moment—and left a storm in her wake.
