"How are your people doing now?" Thoren asked while raising his head. "Do you have enough portions to treat everyone properly?"
Although he did not know every detail surrounding the situation, a lingering feeling of guilt remained inside his heart.
The possibility that the beast tide had been triggered because of him prevented him from ignoring the wounded people.
As for those who had already lost their lives, there was nothing he could do for them anymore except seek vengeance on their behalf.
"Enough portions?" Solenne repeated while shaking her head slowly.
"Alchemists are extremely rare throughout the Bleeding Desert. We once had a talented alchemist working with our guild, but he was assassinated by one of our enemies. Since then, we have been forced to rely upon outsiders for our potions."
"And now, we have already used every reserve potion available, and even that was not enough." Her voice carried obvious frustration and restrained anger.
