Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Am I Even Human!

Kiyan rushed toward the Pure Titan, Dina. As he closed in, he leaped and swung his stone sword. The stone sword hit the Titan's lower leg, but only a red flash (visible only to Kiyan) appeared, and there was no other effect.

The expected knockback didn't happen, and most critically, he couldn't see a health bar. Kiyan had no idea how much damage he had dealt.

The attacked Pure Titan, Dina, immediately focused her gaze downward, the eerie smile on her face betraying confusion. Just as Kiyan prepared for his next attack, she bent down and slammed her giant hand down.

Dina's enormous hand descended like a net, enveloping Kiyan, and smashed hard into the earth, raising a cloud of dust.

When the Titan lifted her hand, Kiyan appeared in the same spot, completely unharmed. Aside from a massive palm print left in the ground, it was as if nothing had happened.

But only Kiyan knew how terrifying the attack was: his health bar was down to the last two hearts. If the Titan hit him one more time, he'd be respawning at the spawn point.

Kiyan immediately pulled an apple from his inventory, furiously gnawing on it while dodging the Titan's attacks. As his hunger bar decreased, his health slowly refilled. Kiyan now had the necessary margin for error to deal with the Titan.

Dina continued to pursue Kiyan, buildings along their path collapsing like dominoes.

Watching the relentless Titan, Kiyan had an idea and immediately deployed his signature move. Blocks instantly materialized behind him, hindering Dina's pursuit.

The speed at which Kiyan placed blocks was far faster than in the game. In the game, he had to manually click each placement, but now, the blocks would materialize in his operating range just by willing it.

The sudden pile of blocks, while destroyed by Dina's brute force, ultimately tripped her.

Dina crashed to the ground. A strong gust of wind swept the dust and spread out in all directions.

The Pure Titan, Dina's critical spot—the nape of her neck—was now exposed. Cutting this section of flesh would kill the Titan, despite its terrifying strength and regeneration.

But Kiyan chose not to attack. Instead, he rapidly approached Dina and began placing a large number of blocks on all of her joints.

Dina was no ordinary Pure Titan; she possessed the Royal Blood of the Eldian lineage. The power of the Founding Titan could control all other Titans, provided the user had Royal Blood or was in contact with someone who did. At this time, Grisha Yeager was likely executing his plan to steal the Founding Titan's power, and those with Royal Blood on Paradis Island would soon be massacred by him. Grisha would briefly possess both the Attack Titan and Founding Titan powers, as his lifespan was nearing its end. The number of Eldians with Royal Blood would soon be reduced to four.

The four remaining Eldians with Royal Blood would be: Grisha's first wife, the Pure Titan Dina, the surviving Reiss member (who narrowly escaped Grisha's slaughter), the future "Cattle Queen," now "Good Girl" Historia (Reiss), and Grisha and Dina's son, Zeke, who possessed the Beast Titan power.

In the original story, Dina was the consumable that briefly activated the Founding Titan's power, forcing Eren to cooperate with Zeke later. To change the future, Dina was a crucial factor.

Kiyan's inventory of dirt and cobblestone blocks was quickly depleted, and Dina was completely buried under a mountain of blocks.

Titans have another trait: like plants, they depend on sunlight for energy. The more sun, the more active they are. Without light, they just become sluggish and enter "standby" mode if they have no goal.

Dina, now buried, had entered the same standby mode as the Titans in Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina on Paradis Island.

Kiyan, having successfully buried Dina, was about to relax, but he noticed another Titan wandering nearby.

Kiyan prepared for a fight. But the Titan's eyes scanned Kiyan, acted as if it hadn't seen anything, and walked right past him.

Kiyan was instantly infuriated.

"Am I not human? What am I, if not human!"

He was just a Steve with Kiyan's appearance, but why wouldn't this Titan treat him like a human?

Was it because he couldn't take off his clothes? Couldn't take off his pants?

"This is too much! If you weren't all mindless idiots, I'd kill you all right now!"

Titans only eat humans. They don't attack other organisms. Eating humans is their instinct; the core purpose is to consume a Nine Titan Shifter to regain human form. Since Pure Titans can't distinguish Shifters from ordinary humans, they attack indiscriminately, hoping to "chance it" and find someone who can cure their Titan state.

The Titan that ignored Kiyan clearly considered him to be non-human.

Kiyan continued to insult the Titan, but didn't attack. A gentleman only uses his mouth, not his hands. If he attacked, the Titan would probably start attacking him, too. Although Kiyan wasn't afraid, he couldn't waste time on these morons.

Kiyan's current business was scavenging.

Someone had to clean up this ruined district, right?

Wandering through the ruins, Kiyan quickly picked up good things: an iron pot here, an iron blade there, and occasionally gold jewelry. All of this junk was converted into 'unknown items' and stored in his inventory.

His empty inventory was quickly filled again.

Kiyan immediately placed a furnace.

The unknown items were melted down, quickly becoming iron nuggets and gold nuggets.

"I'm a genius! Pots are definitely made of iron!"

Kiyan quickly set up a crafting table to expand his production line. He then smelted the iron and gold nuggets into iron ingots and gold ingots.

Iron ingots were important, but nothing compared to gold ingots.

With gold ingots, Kiyan could return to the Overworld, craft Golden Apples, and cure zombie villagers. Once he built an iron farm, he would achieve iron ingot freedom.

Once he built a trading hall, he could wear and discard diamond armor whenever he wanted.

Thinking of the bright future, Kiyan couldn't help but hum a tune, and his scavenging became lighter.

Just as Kiyan was happily scavenging, a huge crash sounded in the distance.

The Armored Titan, one of the Nine Titans, appeared at the end of the road.
