Cecilia looked at Eastiel closely. For the Golden Lion King, the strongest beast in his generation, even stronger than Arzhen, to not be mentioned at all? No matter how vaguely Ruby framed it, it was something impossible to imagine.
"If he no longer existed, like how you supposedly died in your childhood…" Arkai whispered, his voice barely audible.
"Of course, that's also possible. I have thought of it too, since I've been wondering why Ruby chose to get close to Nikolas instead. I mean, if we're talking about the two young generations' strongest beasts, it should've been Arzhen and Eastiel, not Arzhen and Nikolas," Cecilia said.
