Without Aurora realizing it, the sun had already begun its slow descent toward the horizon.
Golden light poured through the cave entrance, bathing the stone walls in a warm glow. She blinked in surprise when she finally looked outside and realized the afternoon was almost over. What had felt like a short while organizing her plans had somehow stretched into hours.

She let out a helpless sigh.
