It didn't take long before the fat slowly began dripping onto the flames and a soft sizzling sound filled the clearing. And almost immediately, an unfamiliar aroma gradually drifted into the air.
The three wolf beastmen instinctively sniffed, their noses twitching repeatedly.

The delicious scent became richer as Aurora slowly rotated each skewer over the flames. Once satisfied, she reached into her inventory again and produced a small bamboo container. Opening it, she lightly sprinkled a fine powder across the roasted meat.
The aroma instantly became even richer.
Ronan felt himself unconsciously swallowing. Even Zar, who had been too weak to think about eating moments ago, suddenly felt hungry.
A few more minutes later, Aurora finally removed the meat from above the fire and handed one skewer to each person while adding a quick warning.
"Be careful, it's hot."
