Aurora wasted no time after confirming the red mud was indeed usable clay.
Excitement still lingered in her chest as she immediately pulled out one of the medium-sized baskets she had made earlier from the system storage and crouched beside the stream bank.
Her fingers worked quickly but carefully as she first prepared the clay, removing tiny stones, roots, and debris before adding enough water to soften it into the proper consistency. The moment the clay reached the right texture beneath her fingers, she began coating the inside of the basket layer by layer.
She was meticulous with the process.
Too thin, and the structure would crack once dried. And if too thick, it would take forever to harden properly or collapse under its own weight before setting.
