In guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines, the most fundamental priority is not getting detected by the enemy.
From the moment the enemy learned we had infiltrated, we were in serious danger, but they still hadn't found us. In the meantime, we whittled down their numbers with ease, picking them off one by one.
"Heh heh heh, every last one of them is completely out of it."
We carved out new tunnels that wrapped around the dungeon's sectors, then went to work killing the enemy in earnest. Our best option was to thin out as many of them as possible before the real battle, chipping away at their fighting strength.
"Master, there's an enemy on the other side of this wall."
Lime pointed at the cave wall. Lune immediately pressed her ear close and focused.
"Just one. Sounds like they're lying down."
