After taking a two-hour stroll around the dungeon, I came back to check on the cocoon. Thanks to my perfect timing, Line's cocoon began splitting open from side to side.
"...Keh heh heh."
Sure enough, Line emerged with that distinctively arrogant laugh of hers. Sporting an appearance that looked roughly half Meri and half Levis, Line had taken on the form of a fully realized female body.
"Though my beginnings were humble, my end shall be grand. My name is Line. I am the firstborn daughter of the Legion of Wrath's slime division, a true dragon slime imbued with the power of the dragon."
"Are you saying that to me?"
"Of course not, Dad. I'm declaring it to the world."
Line raised both arms high and tilted her head back. Her horns and wings, unlike Gray's form, were somewhat rounded and cute in shape.
"I'm spreading your name across this insolent world that knows nothing of true love, along with my own name as the slime who shall conquer it. Heh heh."
