The battle's over. The thrill of victory is always sweet and exhilarating.
Worrying about a possible night raid, or additional forces coming—that can wait till later. Right now, I just need to enjoy the pleasure right in front of me.

Eila leads me to the bedroom. Having properly showered for the first time in a while in a human city, Eila's body smells of thick perfume. Lune seems to have bathed with Eila too.
"I'm gonna shower too."
"Huh? You don't really have to...."
"Don't wanna dirty the bed."
That's one reason, but I wanted to pour hot water on my body soaked in blood and sweat. I take off all my clothes and place them in front of the bathroom. Befitting the mansion of whoever the owner is—someone who lives pretty well—it's equipped with shower facilities.
"It's a bathroom using magical tools. Turn that magic stone. Hot water should come out."
"Whooooa! Hot water using magical tools, that's amazing!"
"What kind of crazy talk is that?"
