Rumors spread quickly.
"Billionaire dating poor girl!"
"Is Caroline after his money?"
Smith's board panicked.
His mother demanded answers.
Caroline's neighbors whispered.
The pressure grew unbearable.
"You deserve someone from your world," Caroline told him with tears in her eyes.
Smith shook his head.
"I deserve someone who loves me. And that's you."
