Upon learning of the Summoned Beast Ranking, Hiruzen Sarutobi was visibly excited.
Seated beside him, Orochimaru gave a sinister smile.

His Manda(Orochimaru's primary summon is Manda. "Ten Thousand Snakes" usually refers to a specific jutsu) weren't renowned for nothing. He had no doubt he would make the ranking.
The Konoha Crush Plan?
At this point, he had completely tossed it aside.
His attention was now entirely on the mysterious scroll.

"Mabui, immediately summon all shinobi in the village with summoned beasts!"

The Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumi, gazed toward the distant Konoha sky, her face full of irritation.
"Why don't I have a powerful summoned beast!?"
"Sister, don't worry. There will definitely be other rankings. When the time comes, you'll make the list for sure!"
Mei looked at Chōjūrō, who had just spoken, and smiled in relief.
"That's true. If it comes down to looks and figure — I'll definitely be at the top!"
Sunagakure
Elder Chiyo sighed deeply.
"As long as you make the list, you get rewards. But this Summoned Beast Ranking has little to do with our village."
Amegakure – Akatsuki Base
All Akatsuki members were gathered by Pain's summons.

Tobi didn't hesitate:
"Art is an explosion! If there's an Art Ranking, Senior Deidara would definitely top it!"
