In the middle of the streets Inside a black car in the passenger seat was a 17 year old boy named max McKnight who was currently a sleep with his some bags below his seat.
While the driver was a man who had a black suit and black glasses.
This was a personal drive because max agreed to help the Utah part of the EXO of the USA division because there was an influx of lost souls and max volunteers to help and he was mainly assigned the hurricane part of Utah.
A place for him to stay for the time being was bought and he packed some stuff to make himself comfortable until he was done and was able to go back to the Miami/Hialeah part of the u.s.
The car was now in Utah and they were doing some turns to get to his private home and max got to his stuff on him.
Max: hey rob sorry for the long trip.
He got out his wallet and counted his bucks and decided to give his driver 27 dollars as an apology because he wasn't kidding about the long drive.
A few they had to stops for some places to grab food or go to the bathrooms and not to mention the driver had to pay for a motel.
Over the whole ride max and the driver who was named Robert talked and got along well and max felt bad for the long and tiring ride.
Robert looked at the money max had and put his hand up in decline.
Robert: don't worry about it kid. If anything I should be thanking you.
Max was confused at that but he saw Robert looking around the place in a nostalgic way.
Robert: it's been years since I've been here and being here reminds me of the good old days were I was a kid I went to this place called fredbear's family diner and they also had this side restaurant called freedy fazbear's pizza.
He let out a sigh but then his tone got a bit more serious.
Robert: I heard that they opened a new restaurant. Like a reattempt at Freddy's pizza but honestly I think after years of hiatus they are getting desperate with earning money.
Max: why did they went on a hiatus?
Robert: well it's no secret from those who are familiar with fazbear entertainment but they have a history of getting into incidents and not to mention an incident that was big back in the day. Some kids got murdered and there's no traces of their bodies and no culprit caught but a have a feeling that fazbear entertainment is hiding things.
Max: sounds like everyday corporate company that just cares about money.
Robert: trust me I felt the same way when I actually did some research on them. But still those days of being a kid were special so it's good to be back in Utah and the ride was worth it so don't worry about feeling guilty.
Max: well if you say so.
While they were making some turns something caught both of their attention.
And what was the cause it was the new freedy fazbear restaurant and both of them could see a small crowd of people outside the building.
Robert: guess that's the place.
Max: looks like any old restaurant for kids.
Robert: yeah I know. Let's go we're almost to your place anyway.
Max raised no objections but he looked back at the building with suspicion.
They finally got to max's house and after saying goodbye to each and saving Robert's number to call him to pick him up when he's done he dumped his bags in the living room and he flopped on the couch groaning in defeat.
Max: if I knew that the drive was gonna be long as hell I would have had second thoughts.
A white appeared beside him and max tilted his head up to see a small girl with snake features looking at him.
Moline: well you're here now. So unless you want to leave after a long ride?
Max: no way in hell. I had enough of not stretching my limbs.
Moline: so are we gonna take care of those lost souls?
Max: nah not today besides I'm pretty sure this parts are pretty much quite we're not going around the entire continent of Utah.
Moline: alright so first we whine down and then go after the lost souls. I'm alright with that.
She then noticed that max was looking on his phone and she floated beside him to see and it was a selection for jobs.
Moline: why are you looking for jobs you have enough money to live the high live.
Max: I know but I would rather not ask for loans from EXO because if I'm being honest makes feel wrong.
Moline: you are literally getting paid what are you talking about?
Max: look moline Diego told me that some normalcy isn't bad thing and being rewarded after your job is honestly satisfying.
He kept on scrolling through the selection and saw one that caught his eye.
"Freedy fazbear's pizza is in search for a security guard to work the night shift"
He looked at this and he got the same feeling like back in the car.
He kept it on hold because he can't shake off the feeling that there's something wierd was happening inside that pizzeria.
2 days have passed and after getting accustomed to the new living space max went to hunt down lost souls.
Lost souls are basically spirit that lost themselves due to negative emotions and experiences that distorts their forms and turns them into monsters.
On the second day he hunted 6 lost souls that looked intoxicated like in a drunken state and they were barely a challenge.
But when he decided to follow one lost soul to figure out were it was going.
Because all the lost souls that he hunted down were drawn to somewhere and when he actually flared up his senses he also felt dizzy from the amount of spiritual presence was coming out it was like if you smell something really strong and it was burning through your nose but in max's case it was mental strain of sensory overload.
But when he dulled his senses and followed the lost soul he found where and it turns out it was Freddy fazbear's.
After he was done killing the lost soul he flared up his senses again and the sensation came back tenfold but after a while thanks to him overlapping the pressure with his own spiritual energy he quickly adapted.
Which was pretty odd.
He then put together that maybe the reason why enough was leaking out was because the what ever spirit was inside was on the brink of creating a territory of its own.
Which explains why the lost souls he killed looked drawn into the place.
But the fact that overlapping the pressure coming from the place with his own meant that who or whatever was the cause is weak but have a high concentration of spiritual energy but they probably don't know how to use it.
If that was the case then whoever was controlling said energy would have ordered the lost souls to jump him but it didn't happen so yeah.
In simple terms something was inside that damn pizzeria and he was going to figure out what.
Currently he was scrolling through his phone and saw the night guard job and went through some stuff to get assigned.
After that it said that they will send him a uniform to his address and he was starting tomorrow. And he was working from 12.am to 6.am
Max was scrolling through an old news story about the missing children and he quickly pieced together the the cause of the amount of energy oozing is the souls of the kids.
But apparently the only problem is that the bodies weren't found so he can't exactly ask fazbear entertainment employees because they would come up with some bs excuse.
And another problem is that thanks to the overflow of energy it would be hard to get a an exact location on the souls of the kids.
Don't get him wrong he's not doing this because he feels bad for them or anything he does but since he doesn't have a personal connection to the fazbear franchise he doesn't have much in terms of respect for the management.
And years have passed and he was used to hearing tragic things like kids dying since his step sister was a victim of human incompetence.
He's only doing this to prevent the place from becoming a territory.
A territory is a pocket dimension connected to a specific spirit that becomes attached to a place like under a bridge or an abandoned place.
Anyway his main objective is to stop the overflow of energy from causing more problems that were already.
After another day his security guard uniform was delivered and there was a note attached that said fazbear entertainment is no responsible for anything that happens to him.
In response he tore the damn thing to pieces.
But before he went to the pizzeria to start his investigation he decided to contact Miguel who was a high ranking agent in the investigation department.
Miguel: you want me to research on the incident that happened in freedy's?
Max: yeah about the missing kids. I have a feeling that they are causing an overflow of energy that's on the brink of becoming a territory that's getting the attention of lost souls.
Miguel: well funny you mention that. Back in the day EXO did a minor investigation of the children but nothing came up. But it was mainly because back in the days we were on the early stages of EXO so maybe now that we have more resources and now have a clearer understanding of spiritual energy we might actually understand what happened.
Max: you sound like your guilty of something.
Miguel: no I wasn't born yet so I never experienced the incident or heard about till I did a background check on fazbear entertainment. I just don't like leaving unsolved cases like this it just leaves a bad taste.
Max: got it. So I'm free to go and see what's going on.

After hanging up max ordered a cap to drive him to the pizzeria and when he walked the front door he felt the energy getting more intense the closer he got.
He wasn't scared he delt with worse but the influx of energy was overwhelming his senses.
He focused his spiritual energy and cloaked his body to dull out the overwhelming spiritual influx until he gets used to it.
When he entered the pizzeria the pressure got worse but he was cloaked in his own spiritual energy so he it wasn't effecting him much but he can bearly sense anything.
The spiritual energy is all over the place and it was hard to track down the exact source and that was a massive problem.
However he walked pass a stage full with 3 animal animatronics one a bird another a purple bunny and the one in the middle was a bear familiar to him.
Freedy fazbear.
Max hasn't been to many restaurants with mascots and if he was being honest he can understand why people call it creepy.
He decided to leave the tin cans alone or else he will be fired and his investigation will go down the drain.
However when his back was turned the animatronics looked at him with hostility.
And max stopped and looked back at them but they were looking away.
Max wasnt fooled he's been in way too many fights to not know when someone is looking at him with hostile intentions.
He looked directly in the animatronics and he felt something coming off of them but the haze of energy influx was too damn hazy for him to get a clear pin point the exact source.
But that aside he decided to leave the stage area but he felt eyes on him again and he was now more and more suspicious of the animatronic.
When he got into the office he was honestly annoyed on how filthy it was cobwebs and the damn place is dusty.
He decided to just sit down and he checked his phone and saw that the time was 12:40 pm.
His shift has officially started and he was getting more and more annoyed about the messy office and he to search for a broom to clean the damn place.
However he was stopped by the phone suddenly ringing which now that he looked at it he noticed that it was a very old mobile.
He checked for an answer and pressed the green button and a voice came out of the speaker.
