For a brief moment, it was as if the entire world had been muted.
Galick Gun and Kamehameha collided head-on.
An ever-expanding sphere of energy formed at the point of impact, its terrifying pressure causing the earth below to heave and crack like a stormy ocean.
"Explode… for me!!"
Vegeta roared, squeezing out every last drop of strength and pouring it into his Galick Gun without reservation.
The purplish-red beam suddenly thickened, slowly pushing back against Goku's blue light.
"It's not over yet!"
Goku's eyes sharpened.
He unleashed his full power as well, stabilizing the Kamehameha. The two beams locked into a deadlock once more.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!!"
Vegeta was furious.
He couldn't even suppress Kakarot in a beam struggle!
How was this possible?!
He was the Prince of Saiyans—the proudest warrior of them all!
This power had been earned through humiliation, pain, and sacrifice!
So why?!
Why did this low-class warrior always manage to stand above him?!
"I… will never give up!!"
Vegeta drained the very last ounce of strength from his body, gambling everything on one final push.
The purplish-red beam roared one last time.
But as Goku looked at the nearly exhausted Vegeta, a complicated emotion flashed through his eyes.
He let out a soft sigh.
"This is it, Vegeta."
The instant those words fell—
Goku's ki surged violently.
The already dazzling blue beam intensified several times over, its power skyrocketing.
The stalemate shattered instantly.
Pure blue energy overwhelmed the purplish-red beam and surged forward unstoppably.
"No—!!"
Vegeta let out a desperate roar.
He could only watch as the Kamehameha rushed toward him.
There was no strength left to dodge.
It was over.
Just before the blue beam could engulf him—
Goku suddenly twisted his wrist.
Boom—!
The Kamehameha was forcibly redirected, narrowly missing Vegeta and shooting straight into the sky.
Vegeta's golden aura flickered a few times… then vanished completely.
He fell out of Super Saiyan and plummeted from the sky.
Goku instantly appeared beneath him, catching Vegeta and gently descending to the ground.
The battle was over.
"Alright, the victor has been decided," Loren said calmly.
"The winner is Son Goku."
Goku's golden aura faded as he returned to normal.
Then he turned, eyes burning, and looked straight at Loren.
Goku took a deep breath and stepped forward.
"Loren…"
"I want to know the real gap between you and me."
"Please—fight me!"
After speaking, he bowed deeply.
"Goku?!" Krillin exclaimed in shock.
He had just finished an earth-shaking battle with Vegeta—how could he still want to fight?!
Loren looked at the highly spirited Goku.
"Fight me? Are you sure?"
"I tend to hit pretty hard. What if I accidentally beat you too badly?"
Goku ignored the casual tone entirely and bowed even deeper.
"Please!"
Loren stepped back and sighed.
"So troublesome…"
"Fighting is tiring. If you've got time, wouldn't sunbathing on a beach be better?"
He waved his hand dismissively.
At that moment, a familiar cold voice sounded in his mind.
[The God-level selection system]
[Ding! Potential long-term harassment source detected: Son Goku and Vegeta's excessive competitiveness! If these warmongers are not thoroughly subdued, they will repeatedly disturb the host's nap time with excuses such as "sparring" or "getting stronger."]

Loren looked at the expectant Goku, then shifted his gaze to Vegeta, who had just crawled out of a deep crater—bloodied, exhausted, but with fierce eyes.
"Hey, Prince over there."
"Stop playing dead. You're included."
Vegeta's body trembled.
Loren flicked his finger.
Whoosh—
A bright green Senzu Bean flew in a perfect arc and landed in Goku's hand.
"Senzu Beans. Eat up and recover first."
He flicked another one toward Vegeta.
"You too."
"Both of you—come at me together."
"It saves me the trouble of doing this twice."
Together?!
The words stunned everyone present.
He wanted to face two Super Saiyans at once?!
What kind of confidence was that?!
What kind of strength?!
"Really?! Mr. Loren!"
"That's amazing!"
Goku immediately swallowed the Senzu Bean.
Warm energy spread throughout his body in an instant.
On the other side, Vegeta stared hard at Loren.
Team up with Kakarot?
Vegeta clenched his teeth, picked up the Senzu Bean, and swallowed it.
His injuries vanished, and his power even rose slightly.
Vegeta straightened his back and exchanged a glance with Goku.
No words.
But the two destined rivals reached a silent understanding.
Loren yawned.
"Let's finish this quickly."
"Haa—!"
"Hmph—!"
Two earth-shaking roars rang out.
Boom! Boom!
Goku and Vegeta transformed at the same time!
Two terrifying Super Saiyan auras erupted, intertwining and forming an invisible energy storm that swept outward.
Krillin and the others were forced back by the pressure alone.
"Let's go, Vegeta!"
"You don't need to tell me!"
Loren chuckled softly—and transformed as well.
Two golden streaks of light, one from the left and one from the right, struck in perfect coordination, forming a deadly pincer attack.
Goku's punch went straight for Loren's face.
Vegeta followed with a sweeping kick aimed at Loren's lower body.
However—
Loren didn't even move his feet.
He simply tilted his body slightly.
Goku's sure-hit punch grazed past Loren's ear, striking only air.
Vegeta's mountain-shattering kick sliced through nothing but an afterimage.
Both opening attacks missed.
