Narrator's POV
A week passed, and Ella and Fiona were finally ready for their trip to LA. Nathan had told Fiona he was handling everything. All Ella had to do was show up with her things. Nathan's parents stood at the doorway and watched as Nathan and Fiona left together. They exchanged knowing looks. They could tell their son was in love, the usual Nathan would never step away from work for a trip like this, not even for a concert.
They picked Ella up from her house and headed to the airport. Fiona only realized something was different when they drove past the main terminal. "Wait… where are we going?" she asked. Nathan glanced at her. "We're taking my private jet." Ella's mouth fell open. "You really have no idea how wealthy your boyfriend is," Nathan said with a smirk. Fiona looked away shyly, Ella squealed softly and pinched her arm.
